He is not worth a max contract at all. I dont know what in the world the Magic organization is thinking especially when he is not even the best free agent left. Gerald Wallace is a better player than Lewis, the Magic should have went in with the mindset Gerald Wallace or nothing at all until next year. Lewis will give the Magic offense but thats it he is a horrible defender, slow as they come, not physical, and just not a player that is worth a max contract I am disappointed but I hope he has success but as of right now his soon to be signing is one of the biggest gambles in free agency I have seen in a while.

Get Wallace!! cheaper of the two plus look who he had on his team to help him out...NO ONE!, here he would have D12. Rashard had Ray Allen that most teams would double team, Chauncy has well who doesnt Chauncy have? everyone on that team can be a threat. Let Wallace have someone decent to play with and see if his numbers go up. He scored more than Chauncy last season and not much less that Lewis and we all know Lewis cant play any D. Wallace is the man for this team GRAB HIM! if possible.

The best free agent we can get our hands on in my opinion is Gerald Wallace and it sounds like its a possibility I really hope that it happens.

My opinion: I think Rashard Lewis is a good player, he has more offensive game than Gerald Wallace but he is pretty one dimentional. Wallace and Ariza are similar and that is not a disadvantage in my opinion. Both of them can be lock down defenders. Wallace can play the 2 just fine he is better on offense than Ariza and he can hit shots. He would mesh very well with this team in my opinion. Solid aquisition for any team. I just hope its the Magic.
