Why isn't D12 a top prospect for MVP?

What I was going to lead to was the fact that even ESPN alluded to the notion that there was one-sided officiating in that series. It was basically another blow to the "magic fans are delusional about the calls for lebron" theory. as much as you dislike Lebron its hard to not admit how dominant he is and how special of a player he is.

Draft Preview: Who to watch in March Madness

A sleeper in the second round will be Jon Scheyer. Everyone hears that he is not athletic, no lateral quickness, and is a slow white player from Duke, but this kid can seriously play. He has the best basketball IQ in probably all of College Basketball, has great size for a PG, can be a combo guard, shoots 3's very well, hits big shots, plays his heart out every game, plays OK defense, does not commit turnovers, and something about him refuses to lose. He is the kind of guy you want to be a back up combo guard for you. The first slow, white kid from Duke worked out pretty well for us.

I am not a jerk because I feel bad for a kid that has not gotten much of a chance his whole career after being player of the year in College Basketball. Next time before you go out calling people names actually think what you are saying.

Why are we going to resign JJ after the year? JJ played 11 minutes the last game and this game he has 6 minutes right now. It is obvious that Stan wants to play Carter extended minutes and look how much Redick's minutes have went down the last month. It makes no sense to keep him considering he is going to want more money then our back up shooting guard should get, plus he is too talented to sit on the bench and play 10 minutes a game. So either stan should start playing him a little more or lets get rid of him. This is not at all a thread bashing Redick, infact he is my favorite player in the NBA. I just don't understand why we are going to resign him with a big contract and play him 10 minutes per game.

  10. I know I am bias because I am a big Redick fan, but how is this game at all his fault. He was 4-8. He did not shoot poorly. He played Solid Defense, and since he missed one shot at the end of the game he is getting blamed for the loss. Carter game in and game out misses big shots. He can't seem to make a shot when it matters. If anyone the blame should be for the no show from Carter and Lewis. The blame goes on Lewis and Carter for not showing up, but this has been the theme the whole season.

    This loss all on Stan

we lost because we don't hit shots. Lewis and Carter killed us with the missed shots. We also went down low when the jump shots were not falling and nothing was falling for Dwight so we lost. We can't adjust to David West. We are not going to not play Lewis at all because he can not guard him. We have enough fire power to score 130 points in a game, but when Carter and Lewis don't hit shots then they bring nothing to this team.
  12. I am definitely not a Vince hater, but is Van Gundy out of his mind? Vince Carter has been solid the last month. Not great, but solid. Just because he is playing solid the last ten games stan basically is taking away JJ's minutes. JJ has been solid all year, Vince has not. That is just not fair to JJ to take away his minutes. JJ also moves the ball much better then Vince, and its not like he is not willing to score. Shard also should not be playing with the bench. Anderson is a maturing player, and it will only hurt if we bench him. I don't know if Stan is Crazy or just wants to get these guys more confidence going into the playoffs, but the solution is not to wipe out two of your best bench players.

He played amazing tonight, and the last 5 games or so he has been pretty good in most of them. I just hope he keeps it up. The one problem though is that I still have a bad feeling that Vince might go back to his slump. He is so inconsistent, which worries me, but he was amazing tonight and the reason that we won. The one problem though I see is that, JJ got 6 minutes tonight. There is no way we have any shot at keeping him if he is getting 6 minutes. He is too good of a player to get 6 minutes. Unless we go with Both Redick or Carter in the lineup, one of them will not be here next year. Although Carter played unreal tonight, JJ is a player for the future. This is VC's last year. We can't give Redick 6 minutes, and expect him to stay next year. I really think that a VC and Redick lineup with Dwight, Rashard and Jameer would work. In all honesty, Matt Barnes is only a slight bit better of a defender then both Carter and JJ. Barnes does not bring much of an offensive game. He is a little bit better on defense then Vince and JJ but he brings absolutely no offense. The other problem is that down the stretch tonight, it was just hard watching MP in the lineup. He is a good player, but under no circumstances deserves to be in the game at the end. He commits many turnovers, takes very stupid shots, and commits many dumb fouls. He might be able to stay in front of his defender a little better then JJ or Vince but he makes some of the stupidest plays I have seen. Tonight was a nice win but Stan has to figure out what he is going to do with our SG/SF's because I promise you that if JJ gets 6 minutes per game this season, he definitely will leave and we will be stuck with VC for one year then we won't have any shooting guards. Vince has been such a fun player to watch in the NBA and I respect him tremendously, but I can't see him contributing well for more then another year, I am not even so sure that he will keep contributing positively this year. My point is that we got a huge win, and VC was amazing tonight and he deserves a lot of praise, but giving JJ 6 minutes in a game will not end up well for us. Vince was hot, that's why redick didn't get much playing time. Not too long ago there was a game where redick was hot and it was vince on the bench. Vince has never played 6 minutes in a game this season that he was healthy enough to play in.

Official Game Thread: Magic vs Hornets Monday 2/8/10 8 PM

great game by Vince but come on its ONE GAME. Even Pat Garrity had a couple good games in a magic uniform. He was amazing tonight, no doubt about that, but he has been decent in 2 games since the start of 2010. I can't take the things back i said about him until he proves it more consistently. I also have a major problem with JJ getting 6 minutes. Its not just because I am a major JJ Redick fan and he is my favorite player in the NBA, but I am worried that he will leave if this pattern keeps up. That was just my 2 cents though.
