This is good news, Dwight will definitely learn a lot from The Dream. It's great to see that he is taking advantage of the time he has this summer to work on his offensive game.

The pic of that little kid was taken right before Lebron hit his game winner. I remember laughing at him, that was a rough night. Karma I guess. Anyways screw Cavs fans!

OT: CP3 believes New Orleans could possibly deal him
Old No.7 replied to D-White's topic in Around the NBA/Globe Game
I would give my left nut to have Chris Paul on this team. -
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4328376 Interesting. Lakers minus Ariza and Odom are definitely not as scary as last year.

OT, but too good to pass up. Shaq wants to fight Brock Lesnar. Let's lol together.
Old No.7 replied to Jareth Cutestory's topic in Off-Topic
That is hilarious. I would pay some money to watch that. Shaq is so desperate for attention. Remember the whole Shaq v Olajuwon 1 on 1 hype that was going on back in the day? It never happened but this would be kind of like that. Only 100 times better. Haha, I would love to see Shaq get his *** beat. -

Put me down for 64-18, and a championship!

Recent MVP's and champions in same season are Duncan, Shaq, Jordan, and Olajuwon.

The Finals experience will help. Especially with Dwight. I think you will see a man possessed this year. He really started to step into the leadership role at the end of last year and I believe that will continue. Our team know it is time to take it to the next level.

Hollinger [ESPN}: "a spectacular piece of card playing by Magic general manager Otis
Old No.7 replied to ReeceGaines's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Otis wasn't kidding when he said he could spend as much as he wanted. It makes me so happy to be a Magic fan. We have an organization that is 100% committed to winning. For those of us who have stuck with the team through the mediocre years it makes this so much more satisfying. I can't even express how much I love this team right now. -

This could get interesting. Hopefully it turns out to be more than just a Bass introduction.

Ron Artest tribute to Micheal Jackson
Old No.7 replied to Nyce_1's topic in Around the NBA/Globe Game
This guy is something else. I was hoping for a while that by some chance we would be able to sign him. However now that I have seen his youtube rap videos along with this, I am very thankful that we didn't. Dude is missing more screws than I thought. -

The Mavs forums are dissapointed to say the least. It is great not being the ones getting the **** end of the stick anymore. -

Should we resign Gortat; Could there be league-wide reprecussions?
Old No.7 replied to Osprey's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
quote: Any user could have said Magic get Bass as it was the only logical Place to go for him... Yea but not any user could call out that we have officially signed him half an hour before it is announced. There is a small chance it was a coincidence but that seems like a pretty large coincidence to me. Don't get me wrong, im not one to count my eggs until they hatch. But I am a betting man and I would bet on Otis resigning Gortat. -
After losing to Magic pressure to win is on Cavs Brown(link)
Old No.7 replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
It can't be overlooked that Brown now also has two of the biggest egos in the game to deal with. Lebron has Cleveland by the balls and he knows it. Shaq thinks he is the greatest thing to have ever touched a basketball. I can't wait to see what happens when this team has to deal with some adversity or when Shaq starts trying to take a little too much of Lebron's attention. -
I absolutely would have taken this deal, especially knowing what I know now about the players involved. Alston was not essential since we have Jameer. I really liked Battie but we got an upgrade and youth in Bass. Sure losing Lee hurts but we swapped a talented young 2 for a talented young 4 so that is almost a push. And getting Vince over Turk gives us a huge edge and thats before you even factor in their contracts. Add in the trade exception which gives us a great insurance policy and the ability to add a player despite our cap situation and we make out big time.

Old No.7 replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Brown definitely has the pressure on him. The best thing about the whole situation is all of the pressure is on the Celtics and Cavs to win now. While they are still a great team, Boston is getting old and we all about Clevelands dilemma. The Magic are set up to be contenders for years to come. -
Otis will sign Gortat. It makes no sense for him not too. The only reason he wouldn't is the price tag and we all know that Otis can spend whatever he wants, right? Besides some hobo told me that we would sign him and I happen to be a believer in this particular hobo. If the Mavs are mad about it, screw them. They are the competition. Otis didn't break any rules. He just played the game the best he could in order to help his team.

Old No.7 replied to Osprey's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Great move by Otis. He did what it took to get Bass and will retain Gortat as well. This guy is no dummy. If anybody has a problem with what he did they can go cry about it. I'm so glad we have a GM that will do what it takes to win. It's a great time to be a Magic fan. -
Anyone else still bummed that we lost C. Lee?
Old No.7 replied to duelingdragons's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Of course Lee will be missed, but have you taken a look at our roster lately? I think we will be ok. Sacrifices must be made in order for victory to be acheived. -
Ricky Rubio Back to Spain for 2 More Years (Link)
Old No.7 replied to Drain-O's topic in Around the NBA/Globe Game
I don't think Rubio staying overseas is that big of a surprise. Teams knew before the draft that they were taking a risk due to his contract overseas. Unfortunately with the way things are going it is only going to get worse. It will be interesting to see how many players from the States fall a little in the draft and end up going overseas for more money.
