I watched a few Knick games last year and saw how broken TMac actually was. He is done. All he ever did was sit behind the 3-point and wait for someone to pass the ball to him. He didn't create, play defense, hustle back in transition and very rarely did he take the ball to the basket. Usually when he drove, he would get to about the free throw line and pass the ball to a perimeter shooter. Unless he has made a remarkable recovery and gained a ton of confidence back, I'll pass. Pietrus and Barnes are much more valuable at this point.

I agree BRich. Vince was not a bad move at all. Turk was gone regardless and VC helped this team win the same amount of games Turk did while getting a contract that will expire after this season. I think his contract will eventually land us something big, whether it's before the season or at the trade deadline, but at least Otis didn't commit 5 years to a SF entering the decline of his career.

Rather than call people idiots, can you lend an intelligent point to this?

When debating this topic, we have to ask ourselves a few questions... Who is the better defensive player of the two? Better scorer? Hustles more? Better rebounder? Puts forth more effort? When breaking it down and after watching every game this season, I think Ryan holds the edge in most of those categories. Rashard makes more and is arguably the worst player-to-money guy in the league. I don't think many would argue that, but contracts determine playing time a good deal. By giving Ryan equal minutes when looking at stats for the year, Ryan averages more points, rebounds, blks, 3pt made, ft%, 2pt%, and ft made/attempted. You can make the argument that he plays against lesser players, but it is at least a good debate. I am not saying Ryan is a far better player, but he defintiely fits the offense and is more efficient and pisses me off far less watching the games
