Can JJ be a point guard?

Redick is not, and will never be, a PG. Others have explained why. There's not really any point discussing it further. That's not to say that Redick can't be a good player. One pie-in-the-sky goal would be for him to become a Reggie Miller-type player. But on the topic of PG...Any ideas why Dooling hasn't tried to play that position? He can't shoot, so shooting guard seems like a stretch, but he can play some defense...

Keyon only has one year left, so *maybe* a team would want him for his defense, but I doubt it. Unless someone clarifies, I think we're stuck with what we have. If we want to make trades, we have to trade actual value. If we're trading to dump salary, we wouldn't ask for much in return, so other teams might be willing to do it based off hopes those players would 'return to form'. And since they'd be giving up very little, they might be willing to risk it. good answer-- thanks. and who knows? hedo has actually been playing better lately, so perhaps some team will bite...
