    It's confession time

I'm definitely not crazy about the job he's done this year either but for the life of me I can't root for the Magic to lose. I will never give up on my beloved Magic team!!!!!!!!!! I've actually entertained the thought cause I'm sick of losing but when a new day dawns for a new game my heart won't let me do it. I love the Magic more than I do any coach. Especially a coach that won't be here in the future. We actually still have a chance, however slim, to make the post-season. Something we haven't done in awhile. I just don't understand the thinking of some of you as I've seen comments on different threads. I will never give up hope on my BELOVED MAGIC TEAM, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Quote: Jerry (Kansas City): John, what do you think about Otis Smith's comments about the Magic keeping Brian Hill for the remainder of his contract? It's pretty clear that the players are unmotivated by his coaching style and style of play. And, what available coaches would be ideal for the group of players down there in Orlando? Thanks John Hollinger: (2:57 PM ET ) The Magic, in general, just seem way too comfortable to me. They stood pat at the trade deadline even though their season was falling apart and they had the pieces to get something done, and now they're acting like everything's fine while Rome burns around them. Maybe this last episode is just a smokescreen to get the players to listen to Hill for one more month, but I'm starting to wonder what's going on down there.

    Otis, the real problem now?????

For this reason and this reason alone I think he has taken it upon himself to redirect the fire Brian Hill pressure, from the ownership and BHill alike. I have always found it strange that a multi-level organization, designed on developing managers and leaders did not know the destructive nature of an autocratic managerial style??? First the hockey guy came in to blow the team up, next BHill was brought in to reconnect with the community and disipline the head cases we had in the locker room. Now that this has been accomplished, I think Otis's comments were ment to appeal to BHill's ethical side.......if he has one!! Quit, so that we don't have to fire you! IMO Otis is probably working with his hands tight up, regarding Brian Hill. The man is more likely following the wishes of the owner. Nothing he can do about it.
