I would not do the chant tonight but Game 4, end of the game if and hopefully not when we are down 3-0 and the same pattern has continued for tonights game 3 then I will buy a ticket and fly down to o-town and buy one of those planes and have it fly around town with the banner behind it: FIRE BRIAN HILL!!! seriously militarymagic i don't know which branch you are in but i am in the navy and politics happen but you can tell the difference of when a command is a good one and a bad one. a good one has leadership in place that is intelligent, respectable, respectful. one that will not put an e6 in a mangement position, cause that is how "chain of command" is supposed to be, just because he out ranks and e5 when the e5 out works, works better with personnel, and is more knowledgeable than the e6. it is the same for brian hill. brian hill has his etched in stonoe starters(chain of command) and no matter what(deficency {sp}, knowledge, skill)he continues to play the starters, causing the team to lose(fail the mission)=bad command.

MAGICFAN47 I am not trying to just dispute you to start anything but if you look at the Lakers team and the Magic team for the last games that were played you will see that our great coach brian hill did not play 6 of his player while phil jackson did not only play 3. minutes were more distributed and i am sure that there were a various number of lineups used. i really don't have a problem with a coach having a starting lineup BUT IF IT DOES NOT WORK YOU MAKE ADJUSTMENTS NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF THE THE YEAR IT IS. even if he wanted to continue to start nelson, it would bother me still but if nelson was off(which he has been recently) them you take him out the game. it is what is best for the chance to win the game. jameer can't guard billups, period. and yes jameer may make a shot here and there but as it stands right now he is 7-21; 19 pts for this series. now you will want to start to argue"well i dont want my pg making all the pts his job is to assist", WELL...he has a grand total of 6 assist for the SERIES. While in the same breath the pg r. alston of the houston rockets is 6-20; 20 pts and 13 ast. that is my problem. no knock on alston but i believe you could honestly say that nelson is better than alston. nelson either is not playing they we have saw last year bacause last year was a fluke/because of chip on the shoulder he no longer. BUT THE MATCHUP OF NELSON VS BILLUPS IS ONE SIDED: ADVANTAGE BILLUPS. now i am not saying that arroyo/dooling could do that much better but will we ever find out and i rather find out game 1 second half or game 2 than game 3 but it does not even look like that may happen. you can not say that you do not love to see arroyo drive to basket the way he has been? bottom line is that you play the players that are going to help you win NOT the ones you have written down somewhere that are going to start no matter what the match may be. you make defensive adjustments at end of games all the time. you put in your 3 point specialist if you know you need that to go into over time. why not adjust your starting pg if he is getting manhandled out there or just off.

kinda like what barnette said, i don't HATE jameer, but he looks to not be what we need. I do hate when he stolls up the court though but thats another day. i have stated it before though that i truly am now believer that dwights friendship with jameer will cause jameer to not lose his job here. i mean not to be petty but do you not think could not have had another player on the front page of the website other than jameer? how about our NBA ALLSTAR DWIGHT? just the little things and of course the fact that jameer has continued to start/get more playing than anyone else at that position that make me think that. i would not even complain if jameer "started" and then got rotated out UNLESS he is hot(which has not really happened as of recent), for dooling,arroyo,or jj. hell throw diener in there. just dont keep someone STRUGGLING on the court when you have options. Dwight may struggle but he is what we are building around and came be very dominant. also beside darko and battie who do you want filling in his role if he gets to struggling? i guess i just basically comes down to playing what works not what you have written down on some sheet for a rotation. make adjustments. GO MAGIC!!!!! regardless of who is playing!!!!!

I think jameer be apart of this team just not the part he has played this past year. i have said before, i truly think jameer being such a good friend of dwight is affecting jameer playing time. now granted jameer earned a real shot at starting by the way he played last year but how long does that hold over? he has been up and down and more often down. i do not bash my magic but at this point of the two dwight is the only one deserving a guaranteed contract. like adam said if he could maybe get that chip on his shoulder like he did when francis was here, then maybe that drive would come back. made start another pg arroyo/jj(with hill as the bringing the ball up of course/dooling, and see what happens? GO MAGIC!!!!!!!!

You are right we are not that good, BUT we are also not that bad. I mean at the end of the game when are already dug in a hole did anyone else see that once we were moving like we had some life in us that we scored easily? I wish Jameer would get up the floor faster. I think that in itself would help us with (1)more time on the shot clock, and (2)tire out, just that much more, billups. We are young and we can move. also we need some one other than jameer(jj please)who is CONFIDENT in there shot. now i know jameer wants to shoot alot but more often than not now it seems he is off. sit jj in a corner on offense, dump big man ball(dwight, darko), if not double teamed let them take it to the basket, if not than swing the ball around to the open man hopefully back to jj in that corner for that shot that he ALWAYS has. easier said than done obviously but i really think we need to add jj to the mix, and unless jameer is on in the first few minutes than please pull him for dooling/arroyo/jj. dooling/hill/turk/battie/dwight; hill/jj/ariza/darko/dwight;arroyo/hill/turk/dwight/darko. ok i am off my soap box. regardless if changes are made or not i just want orlando to win at home this first game. oh the pride/confidence/swagger we would have for the rest of the series. I don't know why but it seems so obvious that not because Jameer sucks that he should not be starting(he does not suck but he is often not on)just basic common sense. jameer is to short to guard billups, period. so.... have some one else guard him keyon. that to me would be common sense more than whether jameer is going to be off or not. if nelson plays it is when billups is out(detroit's other pg is not as tall) or when and if keyon gets into foul trouble. also jj redick=3 pts shots. how many 3 did we shoot? 5 and made 2? detroit is a veteran team but we can beat them with smart basketball and of course FREETHROWS from everyone. if everyone that shot a freethrow made one more we would have been only been down by 1 point. i think we will win the next game. GO MAGIC!!!

i hate to say "good win" cause I don't think there is such a thing. but like everyone that saw that game IF we make our free throw we win that game. i think we can win both our games in o-town if we just tweak a few things.

Does anyone have an opinion and whether or not the reason Jameer Nelson is being given these last second shot attempts and is still starting over other players, that more often than not as of recent play better than him, has anything to do with the friendship him and dwight have. Do they not want to "upset" dwight because they don't want him to leave(not that i think he will) because seriously other than the few other times he made game winning shots and his performance last year(which should hold over for so long but a possible factor). Why? Anyone please. I just a hair cut cause i have inspection this week and i feel like pull my hair out, what little is left. Still keeping the faith.

Now I am seriously disturbed and distraut and all those other things when you love a team from way deep but there are OBVIOUS things wrong going on but no one but some of the people on this website can see. I have been a guest of this great website and a magic fan from the days of scott skiles, dennis scott 3D, and nick anderson, and even though we went through alot of ups and downs i was there and i know alot of you all have been as well. I just recently came back from serving overseas in the military and finally going the website. Now i even still just looked at what everyone else said but now i must and my little bit of emotion. please bear with me this may get lengthy. i was literally screaming at my tv when jameer took that last shot. it disturbed me to see him come in the game there at the end again, and i just thought to myself maybe the annoucers are right maybe they will give the g. hill the ball and let him do it, but no i swear i saw hill look at jameer and jameer turned his head like he was looking back at b. hill. i just know that was a very bad loss and i wonder how long this jameer as the last shot guy will last. I also wonder if the fact that dwight and jameer are friends(although i think maybe even dwight may be getting frustrated with dwight at this point) that the organization may not want to sway from having jameer starting and/or trading jameer? and no this has nothing to do with his race or size or anything else other than his game play so please don't even go there. ok that is it i will be a more active member of this website and always a fan of the magic but do you think that anyone else other than myself and the others on this website that feel certain ways about jameer and b.hill see what is wrong?
