Stan exposed Dwight, and kind of thumbed his nose at management as well, you can't blame it all on Dwight. Management probably had heartburn several times from one of the things we all loved about Stan, his propensity to speak his mind.

I don't think anyone here had any expectations of Frye making an impact on the defensive end of the floor. Ever.

His shooting in general is down, both in percentage and shots taken, though his 3pt percentage is higher than it was last year (and any other year but his first season with Phoenix). The problem is the team doesn't do much to demand defensive pressure that allows Frye to get open looks. When we were pushing the tempo and the other team was scrambling to keep up and find their assignment, especially in transition, Frye showed what he is capable of, in terms of offense. He's not some amazing player that will put the team on his back, but he can make the other teams pay for leaving him open, if our team could make that happen. This whole "highest paid player" bit, by the way, completely meaningless on this team.

I think Skiles sat him because of his defense.

If you believe those tweets, you have to assume that the second tweet doesn't bode well for the first, and that Rob is only going to listen to JV's desire to keep Green if he really things JV is the guy for this team.

I think we've seen that JV is decent enough at player development, not so much at managing and perhaps planning for a game.

I don't think anyone here see's JV as our long term solution, but this stat is meaningless given the situation he walked into.

I think they keep reading your posts and just feel so bad about themselves they are starting to lose their confidence.
