I think you should tweak your vow. If the Magic win it all you should never shave again. That's real devotion right there.

Both these teams are going to have long breaks after the first round and likely after the second round too. Besides, how much flow and continuity are you getting when you still have to reincorporate Shaq at the start of the playoffs either way? Im sure Shaq will do well by just jumping into game flow with being gone for almost two months, against a first round team... that will most likely try and run him to death.... Chicago has one of the slowest paces in the league. They rarely get out and run. They're about as text book of a half court team as you can get.

No. Orlando would play Boston if Atlanta and Boston finished tied. The very first tiebreaker is division winner vs. non division winner. It's a stupid rule but it is the rule for this year. Boston would get the 3rd seed if they finished in a tie because they won their division and Atlanta didn't.

Cavs Atlanta Boston ... u still think raps will get 7th seed? Add to that the fact that Bosh went down just 2 minutes into the game tonight. He took and inadvertent elbow from Jamison and went down. Really didn't look good. He was bleeding, taken back to the locker room, and now he's on his way to the Cleveland Clinic. They don't know what he hurt yet but that is not going to help them pass Charlotte.

Yeah seriously...not that hard to see, even by just looking at the numbers. Toronto is easily one of the worst defensive teams in the league. They give up almost 106 PPG. That's insanely horrible. The 2nd highest PPG allowed of the remaining Eastern Conference playoff teams is Atlanta, who gives up 97 a game. That's almost a 10 PPG gap. Wow.

Jean Martin(The Hat Lady) calls new ticket prices "A Slap in the Face to Real Fans"!
demondeacs13 replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Yeah it isn't the Magic organization that y'all should be mad at. It's sports venues in general. The amount of money that it costs the average fan to attend a game is off the charts. A good friend of mine has season tickets to the Cavs. His seats are 5 rows behind the bench. He pays $6,500 per seat. That's absolutely out of control. He's paying $13,000 a year for 2 seats to 82 games. That doesn't even include playoffs, where the prices skyrocket to almost double for playoff games. I'm barely making that kind of paper every year. Good lord. To me, $3,000 for a season ticket that close is an absolute steal. In comparison to some of the other big name teams that have been mentioned, even $4,800 really isn't all that bad by comparison. Of course, for the average fan all these prices still suck because a lot of the best fans can't even afford to go to a game. By the time you buy tickets for you/friends/family, pay for gas to get to the arena, pay like 20 bucks to park, pay something like 8 bucks for a beer...well, that's a really costly trip for 2 1/2 hours of entertainment that you could literally get for free at your house. Of course the experience at the arena is unmatched, but in the grand scheme of things a lot of people are spending their hard earned money to watch a game. It's pretty crazy when you think about it. -
Potential First Round Draw - Milwaukee

Bogut done for the year, per ESPN (if you couldn't already guess that from the video): http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5053689 quote: Bogut suffered a dislocated right elbow, sprained wrist and broken right hand after an awkward fall in a victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, the team announced late Saturday. -
Dwight Howard upset with fans, refs, Spurs

I'm 29 and have been a Cavs fan since I was a kid. I had to put up with getting bounced from the playoffs by MJ back in the day, to the 17 win season prior to drafting James. I'm not here to argue with you guys. I just wanna talk basketball and the Cavs forum is just unbearable. We sound like exactly the same person...it's funny because I don't post here much, either, but when I do it's just to talk basketball. There are less than a handful of knowledgeable, respectful Cavs fans that post here. The others are those who jumped on the bandwagon after LBJ arrived or blatant trolling homers who only come on here after a Magic loss and just start ripping on the Magic like they get off by pissing off the Magic fans on this board. It gets so old. Obviously some teams match up with the Cavs/Magic better than others, but it seems to be pretty imminent that it will be Cleveland/Orlando in the ECF this year and it could easily go either way. As far as the Dwight thing goes, he really is his own worst enemy. He is easily the best big in the league when his mind is in it. It just seems like he lets himself get so bothered over the dumbest **** and, in turn, it really affects his play. He didn't go 2/11 from the line because he's a 20% FT shooter. He went 2/11 because he let things bother him. Fans are part of the game. Fouls are part of the game. Tactics are part of the game. If FT shooting is your biggest weakness you can be **** well sure that your *** is going to be put on the line more often than not. Focus on your FTs and give them a reason to not hack you. Problem solved. -
