Levine plays basketball? I thought the Wolves just hired him for marketing purposes and sent him to all-star weekend to promote the team. -

Went to the Orlando City friendly game in Jacksonville. Came home and got a speeding ticket on the way, first ticket in like a decade. Watched the dunk contest on record. I'm more mad about AG getting robbed then I am about the ticket... Something is wrong here... -

Dude averaged 35.8 percent at Duke from 3 on about 3 attempts per game. Not exactly jaw dropping numbers but having watched a lot of Duke games there was nothing fundamentally wrong with his outside and mid-range game. Sounds like to me he is being poorly utilized. 48% shooting yet he is only getting a bit less then 10 shots per game. Change of scenery might serve him well, especially on a team that could really use an alpha scorer mentality on it. -

Would do that deal in a heartbeat. Drop one overpaid current contract and one overpaid future contract. -

I'd rather just trade both and not over pay the kind of money that there salaries command (in harris) or will command (in evan). Harris at least attempts to play defense and rebound but his offense has become disappointing for the last month or two. Where as Fournier helps spread the offense about like we desperately need, but, can become completely invisible on many nights and can have some frankly Hedo moments. Better to just trade them both for more bench presence or start looking to try and get a good player. More minutes for both Aaron and Mario. -

The idea of letting go of Dipo and then handing over the kind of money it will take to keep Fournier on this team makes me want to vomit. With Dipo I know what I will get. The guy will run through a brick wall on command and do nothing different. Of course he struggles handling the ball. He's not a damn point guard and everyone knows this. But he is the kind of glue guy a team needs and is the perfect off ball SG when you have a SF like Mario bombing away from downtown. Sure Evan looked great tonight. Evan also looked like an all-star earlier this year. And between then and now he has been about as inconsistent a player as we have on the roster. And this is the guy that could be commanding a 10-13 million dollar contract in a year, possibly even more? No way in hell. Maybe 6-8 at the most. But he is not worth that, and he is not worth giving up a do everything player like Vic. I also feel that if were really looking at breaking up this backcourt, which still feels a bit premature personally, then we are looking at the wrong guard. Payton just does not seem ready to run a team, especially not with any of the current players as his wing mates, be it Evan or Vic. It almost feels like we got Payton to late. I think he would have excelled with a very steady precision shooter like JJ or Korver next to him, someone who literally could not be ignored and forced the defense to be a bit more spread out. But this team isn't set up like that and I just don't feel Payton is there yet. Also, yes the lineup may have finished off the game, but a no PG lineup isn't going to win in this league. It worked against Boston. Cool. Lets see if that crap flies against the Warriors or the Spurs (it won't). -

The lack of spacing in that lineup is very concerning. -

Wouldn't that then create the same problem of burn out for Dipo we were seeing before though? Victor was looking good off the bench not having to go against the other teams best perimeter players. I guess I just feel like if we keep having to shuffle the lineup and nothing is coming out of it, then maybe the quality of players needs to be addressed, not the lineup. -

The Magic can't keep moving the teams best offensive options to the bench just so they can go against the other teams second fiddle. Doing it for one player is fine. Taking out two of the top 4 scoring players and putting them on the bench to go with the second unit isn't smart basketball. -

Would happily bring back Ryan Anderson out of all the people in that list. Cousins would be the dream scenario, the guys talent is legitimately insane, but it would screw team chemistry if he is a head case and clashes with Skiles, which is a 50/50 chance. Would rather not take the risk and just continue to stand pat. Grab Anderson if possible and that is about it. -

Wow... That's just... there are no words. Look at the other people on that list... Are we in the twilight zone here? -
Vuc is definitely the offensive center piece, and tbh, we don't win 12 of out last 15 games if it isn't for his continuous contribution in that aspect. But, I want it to be noted that for all the talk of Tobias being the first person talked about being traded away from this roster, just go look at the dude's stat line this season. Very rarely is he not putting up double digits in points (and most of the time around 15 for the norm), he's always grabbing around 6 rebounds, which is a solid contribution for a Small Forward, and he's normally defending the opponent's SF (which in todays game is often one of their better scorers) and he is not fouling. He fills the stat sheet night in and night out and not counting the first few games of the season, is limiting turnovers. Payton has come and gone, just like I would expect from a sophomore. Dipo started the season off rough but seems to be getting healthy and his play is improving. Fournier had a great start, came down from that high pretty fast, and now seems to be trending up again. Vuc as mentioned is an offensive force but his d still leaves much to be desired. But Harris has just been that guy who continues to put the work in every night. When the inevitable time comes that someone from this young core has to go, I think that is going to be a big factor.

Gonna say it again. Tobias Harris is our most consistent all around player. His defense is almost a full 180 from last year. If anyone has improved with Skiles as coach it is him.

The real questions is what does the sink constitute as? How much would giving up Tobias net us, and would it be worth giving him up for it. There is an argument to be made that Harris is currently the teams best overall player and certainly the teams most consistent. -
