Would he immediately be the best shooting big in the league? The three comps I’m reading on him are Lewis, KG and Bosh. Having watched him quite a bit, those seem on point.
I also love his game, if we keep WCJ at the 5, that would be a powerful trio of bigs, WCJ at the 5, Smith at the 4, and Wagner at the 3.......interesting at best.

It's possible, but there is no sure thing in any rookie picks, but if he's utilized correctly........ it's a very interesting consideration for us.

Exactly, However, I am really intrigued by the combonation of WCJ at the 4 and Chet at the 5 with his skillsets! Just a thought.

I am not a Mo Bamba fan, nor am I a RJ Hampton fan; but I do occasionally wonder if I am rushing to judgement on them. This front office does seem to have a history of letting young players have the time to develop, so I would not be surprised to see us re-sign Mo Bamba and not make any major trades. I think they may try to move TRoss, because he's 31 and doesn't fit the time frame of the rest of the team. I think they will try to keep Gary Harris as the primary veteran, since he is 3 years younger than TRoss and plays more consistent defense. I wouldn't be surprised to see Robin Lopez back, because I think his work ethic, and always being ready is a valuable example to our young players. I think they also have established a level of trust and rapport with him.
Obviously, if you have a chance to make a trade for a difference maker, you have to consider it - but let's also remember, many people thought Serge Ibaka would be a difference maker! We gave up Oladipo and the draft rights to Sabonis for him. How did that work out? Chicago gave up WCJ, the pick that became FWagner, and another pick for Vucevic - bet they wish they could get a re-do on that now. We always need to remember, if another team is willing to trade an all-star, there is a reason. (Obviously, if the All-star has requested/demanded a trade, that's a little different)
Bravo !!!

Only one season is not enough for me for that price range, with all the question marks still on him. With a cheaper contract, we could discuss. He would became a trade chip too, eventually.
Couldn't agree with you more! I like what Bamba did to improve his worth to this team, but I actually believe we need to see more. He should try to complete a season with less time on the IL, bulk up more and continue to improve. Offer him an incentive based contract just north of the mid level exception.

Could it be, Mo has found his stroke?
I was actually sad when he lost his footing. I think he always had the ability, but not the nerve.

His role in the NBA at least right now is to be a 6th man that tries to get hot. Some games are gonna be inefficient and we’ll have to live with it. I think we’re grooming him to play that role when we parts ways with Torch
That is what I see, maybe grooming him for the 1 or 2 positions, but he is years away from replacing the Torch (IMHO). However, leadership is hard to train, but we need leadership......
WE DO NOT HAVE 1 ALPHA DOG ON BOARD....... however I think Jalen will develop to lead this team.

I couldn't agree more! However, I love the edge that Cole brings daily.
The problem is, he is trying to lead, become the Alpha Dog, but his game has not developed to that point
just yet!
Additionally, Cole has a limited amount of time before Fultz is back in the fold and starting. Tough spot!!

Nor sure if either will stay, I think the Knicks are still chasing Ross, and the jury is still out on Harris.

Well, I hope for the teams sake that I am wrong, but I don't know if his game translates into the pro set! I would love to be wrong, but we will see. Go Magic!!!
