I couldn't agree more, except I have been tired of Evan for the past two seasons. Additionally, I never agreed with contract, especially with the players choice at the end of it!

I'd like to see them on the same team, with talent!

You can't take away his talent, but I would have to agree, he has a short shelf life which means, even if we did make the playoffs, the likelihood that he would not be in uniform defeats the purpose. Now, if we could give up Evan in the process, I would do it in a heartbeat!

He has shown measurable growth over the past 2 seasons, I really think he would continue to grow into a all-star caliber PG if his seasons were uninterrupted.

CT......How's it going over there? Well, in a nutshell, I think we arrive at the same points of interest regarding Evan. He is a career journeyman at best in my view. Now it's possible that I hold his current contract against him, because we lost VO in that process, along with a very promising rookie Big man. Of course the responsible party is Rob Hennigan, but Evan serves as a constant reminder (negative reminder) of those God awful days. I'm holding out for Chuma Okeke, Fultz and JI along with the rest of our young core to develop nicely in this abbreviated season. In fact, if Evan opted out, that would, in my estimation, accelerate such a development. You make great points in his behalf, and I do believe he gives his all, but I am ready to move on from Evan, it would be best for all parties. IMHO

That's the reason he feels no pressure. Not only that but, no offense, how many teams are killing themselves to sign him? He is serviceable, and I think he has a great heart for the game, but he is a respectable 3pt shooter, marginal defense, and that's it. IMHO

Very good post Sir, but I must admit that my short term goals consist of making the playoffs in this abbreviated season ....only! My long term goals/expectations are to be fully loaded for the 20 - 2021 season and challenge for the ECF.

Do you expect JI to be cleared? I don't think they will unless JI insist, based upon the Weltman statement.

Good news regarding Bamba, but I am really looking for Fultz to take over this team.

I agree! But the talent on this team is hard to match even at full strength, not withstanding missing 2 of our starters.
