I would only trade down to acquire a pick next season. If not its rather pointless.
-
Really in this draft I do not care. 1-4 is fine. I trust Henny.
-
Call me crazy but I prefer to see what guys do against other basketball players not in some track drills.
-
McLemore finished last in the shuttle drill measurement among 2 guards
either he didn't try or his lateral quickness is average
also Shabazz isn't even participating today; what a failure
Dwayne Wade finished last among 2 guards when he did the shuttle drill.

Can we just draft Wiggins this year?
-
People said the same thing about Harrison Barnes at UNC. That he was too passive and didn't seek the moment. Seems to be doing okay to me. Sometimes guys are just better cut out for the pros and not college because the systems don't fit. Russell Westbrook is another example.
I am not saying Ben will be awesome but the potential is definitely there.
-
Otis didn't even want Brook Lopez. You can see what having Brook as your best offensive player gets you. About to lose to a Chicago team without their best player.
I think picking Noel is the smart play simply because the Magic can afford to rehab him suck again and get back into the Top 5 in 2014. Seriously that draft has 5 potential all stars and 3 franchise type guys.
-
I think it signals the Magic will take BPA regardless of position or need as they should.
-
Tobias Harris is my vote or Tits McGee.
-
I love the (insert GM) passed on (2nd round pick) here argument. Um if they got picked in 2nd round every single GM passed on them.
-
Magic won't take Lin because they want clean books for 2014 summer.
-
I have many concerns with McLemore (very low basketball IQ being the biggest), but there is one I still can't shake.
Name one good Kansas player since Paul Pierce. I mean GOOD, don't say Chalmers. Chalmers is productive, productive isn't good.
Nick Collison.
-
Porter, Oladipo, KCP
if KCP didn't play on a trash Georgia team he would be getting Top 10 consideration
it's another MKG/Harkless thing
-
so he's more athletic than these other athletic guys and he's younger (even though McLemore is a 20 year old freshman so we should be comparing him to sophomores) but his best skill is negated if you simply get up in his shirt and he can't dribble
sounds like a guy you should take in the top 3
i don't think you realize how few wings there are in the league who can't dribble or create their own shots that are more than just role players
Give me 3 wing prospects in this draft better than McClemore boss.
-
There is going to be Tim Duncan and Lebron level tanking in 2014. Tanking in which we have never seen in a decade. I hope the Magic are prepared for it.
-
so I only see 1 reason... athleticism
Nope. Much better shooter. Much better off the catch. Better athlete. Better defender. I can go on and on. Again not a perennial all star but he is not some scrub either. He is way better than anyone else in this draft. Burke, Bennett, Oladipo, Porter. I mean this draft is awful now with Smart out.
-
so what separates him from Wesley Johnson, Brandon Rush or Pietrus
cause all those guys were athletes with good three-point jumpers but couldn't dribble
Oh let me count the ways. Again athletically its comical you would compare Johnson and Rush to McClemore. Seriously. Then Wes was 23 when he was drafted and Rush was 22 and coming off of a torn ACL. Pietrus was a fantastic athlete but I do not remember much about him as a prospect.
-
he has the skill set but decides to hide in the closet instead of playing with energy and force like Lebron. Waste of Talent.
Lebron just started playing with energy and force a year ago. He basically wasted his incredible talent for 7 years. Also you cannot compare anyone to Lebron because he is in a different stratosphere right now as a basketball player. No one in the NBA comes even remotely close.

how is McLemore a game changer when he can't even dribble
Because he has the skill set to become an elite shooter and he is already an incredible athlete. I am not saying he is going to be a perennial all star but he has the ability to be fantastic.
-
This draft is the absolute worst. Beyond McClemore and Noel I do not see a single potential game changer. Burke is a nice player but I do not see him as a premier talent.
-
I go to Michigan and have been ridiculed multiple times for being especially harsh on the Michigan players (I wore my Florida gear for the elite 8 game). But Burke is significantly better than Smart.
And please let's stop acting like OkSt was not an exceptionally talented team. They were just poorly coached.
Did you wear your jorts as well or go with the standard jersey and basketball shorts?

Guys have horrible games all the time. Does not mean they are bad. It also works in reverse. Having a good tourney does not guarantee future success or Sean May would be dominating the NBA.

Alright fellas and ladies. We are winding down the season which for the most part has been as terrible as we thought it would be. We have seen tremendous individual growth from guys like Vucci Mane and Harkless as well as acquired the GOAT Tobias Harris. With that said what was your favorite memory or memories from the past season. I have two:
1. Defeating the Lakers of course.
2. Our game against the Heat we lost 97-96. We had that game if not for the bunk charge call on Tobias Harris but overall that was probably the best we played the entire season with this current roster.
-
I do not really care if they make it or not since they will more than likely get boat raced in the first round. I am more interested in their off season. I am wondering if having Kobe out makes Dwight want to stay or go or if it even factors into his thinking.
