i think shes a nice looking lady, but about bob... dunno about you guys but i was always taught thats how ladies are supposed to cross their legs not guys. i hate to crack on him like that but ummm... shouldn't that hurt? LOL!

i really hope we can get SVG because he is head and shoulders above PJ in my book, and i agree with alot of posters here who think Stan would probably be a better coach then donovan. If anything this proves that there are still alot of people out there that (want to) care about the magic. Stan might not be the Mr. Popular who instantly guarantees a new arena deal but what this team needs to worry about is winning games. i dont think hiring donovan was just about a popularity contest, i think our management likes his style of play and think he was a good fit. but in the back of my mind Stan was always the best coach available. both have tremendous upside that i just dont see in any other candidates.

i was just logging on last thursday to say that since donovan and iavaroni are out of reach, SVG is the only other coach out there i would be happy to see get the job. i do NOT want to see PJ in charge of this team, sure he's bin a good assistant coach recently but that does not change that he's a proven loser as a head coach. then suddenly we had donovan and it became a mute point. the gators and the magic are my teams and im a magic fan since 91, but if florida takes back donovan and the magic dont get SVG, i may largely lose interest in my favorite sport for the last 16 years. i really hope otis and company does what it takes to get Stan!

this is alot like when i was watching play by play of a Giants game on NFL scoreboard and it indicated we had lost, while i was also listening to the game on the radio where they were saying we won! i could just see someone somewhere getting shot because they didnt have the money, when they had really won the bet and didnt realize...

thanx for making us noobs welcome everyone, and JD! the first reason i ever used the internet was to read about my favorite hometown team, the orlando magic. ive trolled the magic message boards as a guest for several years now, and actually tried to join once i think maybe a year ago. this is only the second message board ive ever really felt compelled to join, the first one ended up leading to some of the coolest friendships, roadtrips, and experiences ive ever had. im definitely not looking for all that from this forum, but ive enjoyed following the magic since 1991 when i was 9 and i was playing basketball well before that. the first NBA game i attended was the chicago bulls vs. the orlando magic in 1991, it was an extrodinary experience and it seemed like every time i blinked Jordan was making some spectacular play. after that i was hooked for life, which basketball was already a big part of, and ive attended an average of probably 2 magic games a year ever since and watch the majority of their games on television. but i havent had a chance to go to one this year yet, all the more reason im really hoping for a playoff berth in which case im definitely going to a game or three hehe... im not one to post really often and dont like to argue much myself, but im looking forward to further supporting my favorite team with all of the great fans here on this forum!
