why would you ignore what positions they can play? If shard is starting at sf, you would probably do something different than if he was starting at pf.
We all know that our guys are versitiale and that's what got us to the finals and SVG being able to deal with that.
as Otis who do you find that works into the system and can play the other positions to allow us to get that RING.

But I'll play along.
We can't have a "name" player at every position as back ups. Guys have egos, might not get playing time, etc. I mean, it's looks awesome on paper, but it's not realistic.
I know Carney, Murray, and Daniels aren't exactly studs, but the NBA fan should know who they are.
I'd say get a wing man and bring in a summer league guy to be our 3rd PG, same for our emergency big (Hendrix, Powell, Russel Robinson, any Vegas league guy, etc.).
that's all I asked for{as being Otis} ...
not being what we thought as Otis is doing his thing and doing a great job.

The Orlando Magic have contacted Rasheed Wallace's agent and likely will not match the Dallas Mavericks' pending offer sheet for Marcin Gortat and want perhaps one last chance at re-signing Hedo Turkoglu.
Smith agreed that Wallace, a veteran 6 feet 11 power forward, would be a nice "fit"alongside center Dwight Howard, but "it just depends on what Rasheed wants to do."
"Those numbers are a little rich for a back-up center, a guy playing behind my best player (Dwight Howard)," Smith said. "If it's 5 (million), it puts you in a situation (financially) that you don't recover from."
"We had a conversation with Lon about where we would go when he comes back," Smith said. "We'll see if it makes more sense to us. We like Turk, there's no question about that. But we've said that it was a long-shot to get something done."

He can have the talents of a pf and already has a few of them.
with SVG as a coach ...
Look out .
Gortat's work ethics are why we and a lot of teams want him .
Let's start an E-mail thing like the rocket's have done.
Otis... let's keep Gortat
How can we let go of someone that has played and grown every day against the best center in the LEAGUE.
Let him grow cause he will.

Our team seems to be re-building along the way the Spurs did.
We've come a long way in the past 2 years and i see us heading this way.
Will we have a dynasty or will Otis screw it up?
Otis has done alot of good moves in building this team and keeping focus during the times when we all thought that things were not going to happen.
Our record has proved that...NBA FINALS
If we as a team follow the plan that Otis has...
Is the Magic going to be the next a Dynasty ?
I BELIEVE we will keep Gortat and go for this cause so far that's what he's done...
don't forget the Magic have said they would exceed the cap.
