Oh and Smack, you see the Professor is advocating your start Pietrus suggestion... forgot about that..he did do a good job on Kobe..you can tell his height bothered him, only thing is, doing that will use up alot of energy from Hedo so it can only be done it spurts -

I want to see him be more assertive and take it to the basket more like he did on the Magic's first basket..or take his 12ft pullup. I don't think he is aware of he easy it is for him to do it, especially with Kobe not paying full attention to him

Offense: to start off...the whole stand behind the 3 point line and wait till you get an open shot thing will not work against the Lakers. They'r playing the pick and role perfect and we not gonna ANY penatration from it. We need everybody to attack the basket hard early and often and try to get bynum and Gasol into foul trouble early. On top of that we need A LOT more movement without the ball, wayyyy too much standing around on offense everbody needs to be slashing. From that things will start to open up and the threes will open up also. Defense: As far as Kobe whenever he trys to post somebody we need whoever is gaurding him to front him and somebody behind who is in the area like Dwight, Rashard etc.. if he does get the ball for the double team OR to prevent the pass in the first place...Last but not least we need to pick the itensity up about 10 notches, they were playing alot harder and more aggressive especially as everybody knows in the fourth quarter, once they see the intesity pick up they will get intimedated.

Wolves waive Chris Richard. Maybe Otis still wants him?

Richard's as what this team need's, not the most talented, but a muscle player who will not get pushed around and will have Dwight's back -
Michael Jordan says Dwight is not the best center today
lp1230 replied to Shine88's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
depends on what your referring to...the most dominant center in the NBA yes, the most skilled and savvy definetly not. There are a lot of parts to his game he needs to shore up, passing out of double teams and passing in general, jump shot, taking care of the ball, etc. Right now what he has working for him is his athletic ability and strength which is great, but some players it simply doesn't work against -

Rumors out of Sacramento: Ron Artest for Turk?
lp1230 replied to In The Know's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
welp...if this were to happen we would have the best defensive team in the league, atleast on paper. I think jameer would be ok taking hedo's ball-handling role. It would work great as long as he understands that this is dwights team and he is just a role player. -

he should be able to average 10 points a game in 30 mins just by crashing the boards, getting steals and beating everyone down court, fast breaks and all that, then im sure they will have a few plays run for him, hopefully he's woking on his ft's because I see him getting to the line around 4 times a game -
Crittenton not lining up for Memphis in the Vegas Summer League Tonight!
lp1230 replied to Ryan-Aussie Magic's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
if we are able to get Critt how much do you think the magic would be planning on playing him sence we already signed Johnson to be back-up -
ya I see them sticking with what worked last year with Lewis at PF and bringing Battie or somebody else in if we need to go big. I do wish we had somebody tougher we could bring in though.
