Here is a comparison between Arroyo and Nelson in the first two games. Nelson has 5 turnovers (which is not bad), Arroyo has only 1. Arroyo is 5/11 from the field Nelson is 7/21. Arroyo has 5 assists nelson has 6 assists. Finaly, Neson is averaging twice the time. Now you tell me, Does this numbers tell you something? My point is not that Arroyo should start is that they should at least split minutes because Nelson is not playing well.

Seriosely I dont know what I would do if Brian Hill throw another game away. It will be too much. You guys have no idea how I woul like to talk personaly with Otis about the situation. I dont think is possible he is happy with the way B Hill is coaching. How como he has not been fired yet!!!!

Nelson is a must for the team but also is Arroyo and 14min a game is not enough.

Do you want to know why? Because we are against the 1 seed and Brian Hill is the most incompetent coach in the NBA

I can't believe what Brian Hill did. What confidence did he saw in nelson that was 1-9 with 1 assist to play him the hole 3rd and 4th 1/4? Carlos Arroyo left the game just 3 down in the half WITH NO TURNOVERS in the 2nd quarter. It's a shame we lost this one. I was realy positive we could win this one but Brian Hill is just a worthless coach.

I agree with morlegend. Dwight Howard missed 10 free throws. I also believe Arroyo could have made a diference. I am not saying it because of my nationality.

I think Dooling is a very good player but I like him more as a SG. Brian Hill should seat JJ Redick, who has not played well and rotate Dooling to the SG and Arroyo the PG. The same rotation with wich we started the season.

For the record, I am not a "Arroyo only and only Arroyo" fan but I get anoyed when I read posts from people that judge puertoricans without any basis at all. This Arroyo thing is puertorican culture at its best and is charasteristic among latins overall. We have Puerto Rico written all over our hearts and feel proud when a puertorican accomplishes what Arroyo has (specially basketball since it is very popular here). We feel the same with everyother sport. In Boxin with Tito Trinidad and now with Miguel Cotto, in Baseball with Roberto Clemente, in Basketball with our national team, Arroyo and Jose Barea (Dallas Mavericks), Golf (Chichi Rodriguez). Also with our artists like Ricky Martin, Jose Feliciano (2nd best acoustic guitarrist in the world and is blind), Marc Anthony, Raul Julia etc, etc, etc. I just want you to understand that we are a small island of 4 million puertoricans and is a big deal for us to have people in the NBA, MLB etc. Sorry for those that are not realistic and believe Arroyo is better than Jordan.

Does anyone know keyon dooling status? I herad he has a flu and is doubtfull fot tonight.

Hola Soy puertorriqueno y como todo los que han participado activamente de estos foros deben de saber tendemos a ser bastante orgullosos de Carlos Arroyo y a veces nos cegamos un poco (es nuestra naturaleza y cultura y me siento bien orgulloso de eso). Sin embargo reconosco que el armador titular del equipo es Jameer Nelson aunque quisiera que no fuera asi. Por otro lado no se le puede quitar merito a Arroyo por la labor que ha hecho siendo una perte primordia en el mejor comienzo de los magic desde hace unos anos atras. Es por esto que Brian Hill debe de darse cuenta que las mayores posibilidades de ganar esta utilizando la misma rotacion que utilizo al principio de la temporada. Si ya se vieron resultados con esta rotacion porque tratar otras cosas que hasta el momento no han dado resultado?

I dont think Jameer needs to go to the bench, he is the starting point guard and that should stay that way. This season the magic had their best start since I dont know when and they did it with a very succesful rotation that for one reason or another the went off. However, they have not gone to that rotation in some time now, in fact Arroyo is not even part of the rotation. I think that the most inteligent thing is to go back and do what was so succesful at the beginin. If you already know you can do something one way because you have already done it, why do other things that are not working and never had? Anyway they are not winning so is better to waste some wins trying to get back the succesful way than wasting wins getting nowhere
