Exited to see Iwundu and to a lesser extent Birch! Giannis, please don't hurt us!

Love me some Jonathan Isaac! Don't know why so many of you won't give Evan credit for the strong start he has had. Glad to see Vuc bounce back. Vuc is living up to his contract. It's Ross who thinks that he is some great shooter who can just freelance now that he got paid and he is hurting the second unit with poor shooting and shot selection. Even better to see Gordon, Aminu, and Bamba show signs of life. Not liking the banishment of Iwundu, especially when Ross and MCW need to be on the bench. Cliff has such a man crush on the two of them that they might as well flank him while riding the pine. MCW does have his moments, but he should only be in there when we need a stop to win or are really far behind against a team with less than average offense. Iwundu can score enough that you must respect him, plus his movement and lockdown defense cause most players and coaches fits. Isaac and Gordon can each slowdown a scorer, but Chief and Bamba (on good days) can only defend slower big guys. We need Iwundu to guard 1-3 against the more potent teams, like the Bucks on Friday!

I personally would much rather have the younger more gifted Wilcox. Haslem is a nice fall back though. Plus, I just don't see Riley as willing to give us a fair deal. They will try to rake more from Otis once he decides Haslem is his choice. And gving us Blount is only beneficial to the Heat. Haslem is only available if we fix Riley's mistake (Blount).

Only a fool would think Otis is just inactive and resting on his laurels (according to some, not me, he has no "laurels"). He is just as active as the next GM. 28 other GMs missed out on Gasol too. Now if he came East, I'd be really mad. The lack of a trade does not indicate inactivity. What, there are 15-20 trades a season, if that? We already made 1 this season. Trades are always a two-way street, and just because it looks good to us doesn't mean it's good to the other team. Expiring contracts are great, but we're not the only team with those contracts. Otis just never tips his hand, its not his style. If he has nothing else going for him, he definitely has a good poker face.

Is it just me, or does mongoose's explanation sound like Matt Goukas? Talking about no positions and everything being about matchups. If you want to argue size, then there has been a 6' 9" player at every position. I remember a 6' 9" PG named Magic Johnson, and he was okay.

Too bad he just signed with Charlotte....
