    Can Okafor play the 4?

Boston showed they're still dangerous. Heat will be a nightmare, even if not in first season for sure in next 3 years, Bulls are gonna be very dangerous contender and what if NY land Melo in future ?
  2. This Gortat clip, it was making of anti-drugs commercial spot, not Marcin seriously practicing his rebounding skills

How much worse is Nelson than CP3?

When Deron outplays CP3 *while* CP3 is healthy, then talk to me). I think Jameer is good enough to where, the only other two PGs I would trade him away for are Chris Paul & Deron Williams (Rondo can't shoot and wouldn't fit with the Magic, while guys like Nash and Billups are better, but are too old at this point). I could also think about trading Jameer for Westbrook, Rose or Jennings. Age factor on their side, very young talents already amazing and still learing, improving when Nelson maybe already reached his peak. Too bad Kidd or Nash aren't 5 years younger Meer would be lucky to be in NBA top 10 point guards. LOL at one person that voted "They are about the same", supirze at 11 who voted CP3 is slightly better. Healthy Paul should be better form Deron in general but in direct showdown between the two not so clear, Williams have a lot strenght and size advantage.

    Bass or Gortat

Bass can't do these things well, two hand power dunks basically his one big advantage. Gortat is almost 7 feet tall, his between legs looks not so bad and he can dunk from free throw line. For a guy his size it's pretty impresive. In dunk contest Polish Hamma would be better no hes white bc hes awkward.. jeez almighty the race card please.. and i see the winky wink but the mention is still unjust... anywho i say hes awkward because he looks like the bad guy in a bond movie, hes just lurchlike all around, plus he has the jumpman tat and i saw him to the spread legged dunk once and i just laughed and laughed.... by awkward i mean hes got nothing smooth about him, dont get me wrong i love the guy on our team and love watching him play, but if u cant admit he has some "awkardness" to him then well.. maybe its bc ur awkward too idk... and i saw bass catch a sweet oop towards the end of the season that i actually thought was dwight for some reason.. ill hafta look for it.. C'mon, racism thing was full time 100 % joke. He's not Miss Poland candidate for sure and he can be awkward in many aspects of the game for sure, but not seeing his dunking this way. And when I see him outrunning all defenders in brake, catching strong, flat, hard angle, 1/3 court pass in full run and finishing with one hand dunk (not slowing even a bit) I'm asking how many 7 feet guy's in NBA can do this. How many can dunk from free throw line and then yes, word "smooth" comes to my mind. For sure not "lurchlike" about it. Most of the centers in NBA would love to be as lurchlike as Gortat in these aspects of the game. Even this "spread legged dunk", how many could do this as good as him ? I've never seen it live of course but catched it few times in pre game wormups and it didn't look so bad for a guy his size.

    magic improvement?

I like this team too. Magic are one of the top favorites to come out of the east. Together with Boston and Bulls (if finding chemistry goes well) and Miami (not so super dangerous in the first year). But honestly, did Magic do anything to put themselves over Lakers gap ? Nope, up to this point, nothing yet. And it could be very difficult. Small roaster changes and signig backups won't do the trick. Dwigh would have to make monster improvement. Before 2009-10 people expected a lot from him too, but it didn't happen so much after all. quote: What about having a healthy Jameer Nelson for an entire season? Isn't that improvement??? wow, you've must met one hell of a fearless fortune teller. To make a divination about Meer staying healthy "for an entire season", that's brave and very bold Meer played probably his best basketball of career in first two rounds. Magic grabbed enough wins to have homecourt all the way after Cavs loss . So Meer getting hurt didn't hurt team so much.

could Florida have two big 3's next year?

You won't send Shard anywhere and for sure not to Hornets. They will NEVER go for Shard and Gortat, what's the point ? They would not improve in any way, wont save any money, won't clear cap in future, get only two players. I don't understand why you overrate Shards so much, he has the 2nd biggest contract paycheck in NBA for next 3 years. He's not a superstar, he's not even top 30 player in the league. Add Gortat, pretty big per year deal for 4 years and still unproven starter. The worst scenario for team going into rebuilt mode.

If Denver stands to lose him for nothing and Melo demands Orlando then we will see Denver willing to take anything reasonable we give them. Shard may fit nicely with them. Heck if we picked up CP3 at the deadline for VC then land Melo next year that would be even better. Give CP3 a half season and full summer to fully learn our system then give him a true wing weapon in Melo... A PG like CP3 makes everyone around him better by leaps and bounds. Imagine Dwight getting the ball right where he wants it every single time he gets position. Then you throw Melo into the already well oiled Magic offense run by CP3. depending on how denvers season is playing out at the deadline i wouldn't be surprised if we pick him up.. Correct me if im wrong but since he is a free agent can we resign him to a max deal? Or do we have to get him in a SnT? This was my main reasoning behind him being picked up in the off season. Denver has the cap space to resign him and then ship him to us in a SnT. Also I think CP3-Melo-D12 is a much more effective 3 then Wade-Bron-Bosh. The best PG in the league with a top 5 Wing and the best Ceneter. teams wouldnt be able to double CP3 because of his passing ability and doubling Melo or even coming with help defense on penetration would leave a hole in the paint for Dwight. Melo would have to be Nuggets SnT or trade before 2011 deadline. But Shard is not resonable, his grossly overpaid contract for sure isn't. Forget about trading him to anyone and with new CBA coming, a true mission imposible. Not sure about fitting neither. They would be much better with just letting Melo walk than taking Shard. Trade VC+Duhon almost same as getting Melo walk, really no gain. About CP3 there were rumors about Hornets owner not agreeing to trade him, later strong statements from their president and CP3 himself about staing in NO so it's looking like he's not up for grabs right now and can't be sure when and if he will (and if, then it would be with additional heavy Okafor tagged luggage)

    Shard at the SF

But Magic don't have to many ways to use him as a SF. Bring Anderson and SF will guard him, Shard gets PFs. Take Bass and with Dwight it's starting to get to crowded inside for Lewis to play post ups and closer to basket (and stronger SF like these guy's could also try to guard Bass). And again I think it would cause more problems on defensive end than advantages on offense against teams with stronger and more dangerous SFs. Can't imagine it as a more permanent thing. BTW I don't think that bringing a star PF is possible. Like Bosh, Booze, Amare or even Lee calibers, some people want Shard playing SF becouse of this. Magic don't have assets attractive enough for S&T.

    Shard at the SF

Is he really gonna have so huge advantage in the post over players like Melo, LeBron, Pierce, Artest ? I don't think so, and how much huge speed and quickness advantage they will have over Rashard ? Defensive nightmare. He has more beef but he's older and slower, he forget how it is to guard players quicker than him, spend more times on perimeter, chase through screens. Also it would be a huge change of system in Orlando, throwing away inside-out game, limiting Dwight offensively a little bit. Pretty big thing.

He's not quick enough to guard 4s on defense and can't score well enough at the 4 on offense. I absolutely think Noah's quick enough to guard 4s, and he's a solid scoring option. That being said, he'd almost be redundant on this team. Solid scoring option with what ? 10ppg in Chicago with no other post scorers and Rose to feed him with passes. All he has is around the rim, he wouldn't be able to play together with Dwight. So what if there are no other post scorers? Do there have to be? No one criticizes Dwight's scoring because we have no other post scorers. That's just silly. And I don't think Rose is the passer you think he is. He's only marginally better than Jameer. It was about how he could use it and transfer to Magic system style of play. Here you have few times better post scorer with paint as a his privately owned island on very strict and short term visas permits. In Chicago he has paint all to himself and everything he does happen in the paint, how it would work with Dwight together on the floor ? Dwight will shoot jumpers, play mid range game, sit on the bench ? Noah can't create his own shot, don't have large arsenal of post moves or strenght advantage. Most of his points come from passes, if he finds himselff deep and from offensive rebounds. Rose attack the basket more taking Noah defender with him, in Bulls he has it all to himself (no one elsa camping in paint), in Magic he won't. With D12 on floor most of these will belong to Howard. BTW we are much worse assists team than Chicago and bigger part of assist goes to 3p shots. Joakim and Dwight couldn't play together, Noah will be happy to sign a contract after next season knowing he'll only play Gortat minutes ?

  14. We CAN'T make it happen. BTW making it happen would be a moronic stupidity on Magic managment side, don't fit, after this season he gonna want money, strating job and playing time which Magic couldn't afford to give him.
  15. Love what Bucks are doing and turnaround they're havin. Imagine, in previous off-season everyone was thinking this team will finish in bottom of the east, Michael Redd suffer season ending injury in 3rd game, their best player Andrew Bogut gets injured, finish 6th in the east only one game behind Heat, what would happen if they would had Bogut in two losses against Bos and Atl at the end ? Very nice trade moves, dumping Jefferson for expirings, Salmons trade too bad he's probably not going to resign, I think his annoucment about free agency and getting Maggette by Bucks proves that, even if it was a gamble worthy of giving away Hakim Warrick. This move with Maggette is ok, with CDR great, same was with Delfino, signing Ilyasova, drafting 3rd best rookie last year with 10th pick, signing Stackhouse, not a single bad move all year and they build pretty good, well coached team.
