SO EXCITED! We needed a player of his caliber badly. Shooting, driving ability, RANGE, attack mode... SWAG... He's got the mindset of a killer out there and he is going to help our guys tremendously by opening up the lanes by being a threat all over the court. LOVE IT! OH and that Harvey dude can flat out SHOOT the lights out

Thanks, "The Brian" We really like Savannah, so it was the first addition. We've added quite a few places to visit during our road trip. Of course this isn't set in stone yet, as it's a 2 year planning ahead, but we're aiming for March/April 2017. So far, the trip could end up something like this: Fly from Iceland to Pittsburgh Drive to Cleveland, stay for 6 days Drive to Boston (Might need a pitstop between CLE and BOS!), stay for 3 days Drive to New York, stay for 3 days Drive to Philadelphia, stay for 1 day Drive to Baltimore, stay for 1 day Drive to Washington, stay for 2 days Drive to Charlotte, stay for 1 day Drive to Savannah, stay for 2 days Drive to Sarasota, stay for 3-4 days Drive to Miami and the Keys, stay for 2 days Drive to Orlando, stay for 10-14 days Fly home That's quite a roadtrip, I think.

No, never. Please tell.

Although I've been to Florida (Orlando) three times, I haven't seen much of Florida yet. I want to spend more time in Sarasota (been there 1-2 hours so far) and I want to see Miami and the Keys. Plus, I just enjoy staying in the Orlando area. Plusplus, Magic. So I think skipping Florida isn't an option hah. Going to New York and down I-95 however is however a really cool option. Might have to check that out more. Already noticed it could add Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington to the list. Really tempting.

Like the colors, like the logos, but it makes me think "Milwaukee Starbucks".

Missed the game. WOW!! Serious comeback! Why was Dipo on the bench for what seems like the entire second half? -

Did he start working with him recently or has it been so since this summer? Anyways, something seems to be working! His shooting has been good. -
GAMETHREAD: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Orlando Magic
AddiFB replied to Franchero MVP's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Guys, you better be thankful Anthony Bennett didn't play the whole game. He played 1 second and had 2 points. That's PER36 of 4320 points or 5760 if he'd play all 48 minutes. We'd lose BIG. -

Yeah Rubio who I think has been reported to miss around a month, up to 6 weeks, with a similar-looking injury, was jumping on one leg between two teammates to get off the floor. Stretcher and drama for Smart, but just 2-3 weeks. One thing is for sure, people react differently to pain. Just look at Vince. Every time someone touched him he went down and crawled on the floor like there was a sniper in the building. -
vs. Game ONE of EIGHTY-TWO! The time is up, ladies and boys! STORY OF THE NIGHT: Elfrid returns to his home and has some homemade ragin' cajun chicken and will (hopefully) be on fire tonight. Dat Hornets tattoo... MATCHUP OF THE NIGHT: Gordon vs. Davis? Asik vs. Vucci? Payton vs. Holiday? Harris vs. Anderson? Me, personally, want to see how Gordon stacks up against guys like Davis. 8:00 PM ET LET'S GET IT ON! Disclaimer: This gamethread was thrown together in 45 seconds or so and is by no means the gamethread standard for the 2014-2015 season. That said, this gamethread is bad. Seriously bad. I should be ashamed of myself. I should dig a hole and stick my head into it. I should wear a mask, that's how ashamed I should be.

Is the practice on the 20th shown on telly? or streamed on the interwebs? -
If we are going by looks on Elfrid, then "Crabman" is more fitting hah

Weirdly enough, I work out in a rather small gym here in Iceland... and there are THREE of us Magic fans there. THREE! Just last week I was wearing my Redick shirt, a guy walks past me in a Howard jersey and shortly after a guy wearing Magic shorts showed up. I've asked both of them if this is just random gear they have, but they claim to be Magic fans. Amazing! I now know of at least FIVE Magic fans here in Iceland... that's a full... 0.00153% of the entire population here!

As of now, I don't want him back. He pretty much destroyed what he had here with his attitude and how he left. Was it all his fault? No, probably not. FO had a list of faults but some if not most were to cater to Howard. We dug ourselves a hole we couldn't get out of. He did give us years of excitement and we can't take that away from him. Ever. But the way he left, might leave too bad of a taste in our collective mouts. Right? In two years, the thinking might be different. We might have a team that could welcome him, if he's matured enough to realize he's on his last legs when it comes to his atleticism and willing to defer our young guys and be the defensive anchor he's supposed to be, instead of trying too much on O where he's too easy for opponents to figure out. He would however have one thing in his favor: Big men tend to last longer in this league, but for that to be true for him, he needs post moves or else he'll become Clevelands version of Ben Wallace. In two years, he most likely will have regressed a bit physically and athetically. Back injuries are really tough to work around. Sure he looks better last season compared to the horrible Lakers season, but age will soon start to creep up on him. Might have gained a few pounds in muscle and his athletic ability gone down a level. That was his thing. High jumps for rebounds, blocks, oops, shot alterings... He doesn't have a good offensive skillset to rely on when his athleticism starts to go away. He for some reason isn't able to add to his arsenal of moves for him to extend his productive years. So, in two years, given that his athleticism is starting to fade out, he's willing to be a roadblock in the paint, with a block here and there, not trying to be first option on offense... then yes, I'll take him back. I could see it work out if the team around him is filled with playmakers, slashers, defenders, shooters and rebounders. An all-around team, not just guys who stand on the 3P line waiting for an outlet pass from him to shoot a 3. That kind of team was made for Dwight to be a First Option and he won't be able to be a first option as he continues to lose his atleticism with age, given that he hasn't been able to add to his post moves. If we could add Durant with him in 2016, now that would be a different story. PG: Payton SG: Oladipo SF: Durant, Harris, Harkless PF: Vucevic, Gordon, Frye C: Howard, Vucevic This will of course have to come down to what kind of contracts Harris, Vucevic and then Durant and Howard will get. Harris and Vucevic are entering contract years. 9-11M/y for Harris isn't out of the question and I'm sure Vuc could demand up to 15M/y. Soon Oladipo will come up, looking for a good raise, which he'll get... Cap experts will have to answer this: Given that Harris and Vuc, along with Dipo, are up for a good raise... are we in any way in play for both Dwight and Durant, in 2 years, while keeping our current 3 young guys? Add Payton and Gordon to the mix of raises shortly after that. I would guess Vucci would have to go, if the Magic were to sign Howard.

I really don't understand some of these offseason moves and signings... Really don't. I'm gonna give it time to show how it evolves for this team... but this is weird. Feels like we could've gotten a bit better players for the price of Gordon and Frye contracts. No?

I can NOT wait for the summer league to start, let alone the season itself... EXCITE!
