You're not going to stop either of them, but you can slow them down. Force them to play defense, by having the man they're guarding push the tempo, then they'll be a little slower on the offensive end. -

Talk of retiring his jersey is a little premature I believe, but he defintely deserves to be honored. The guy was always a class act, and "Heart & Hustle" wouldn't have been the same without him. Remember how he'd load up on coffee and M&Ms? Or how about when he ran over to pick up and plug in the monitor after Tim Hardway's temper tantrum?

David Stern hates us, plain and simple. You could see him during the playoffs seething when we beat Boston and Cleveland. We ruined his marketing opportunities for a Boston/LA or especially a Cleveland/LA Finals. In spite of his "steering" of the refereeing in the other teams' favor during the playoffs, we still won the ECF. On a lighter note, I hear he sleeps with a Stuff The Magic Dragon voodoo doll... -

JJ had an off night, but he still contributed more than Rashard Lewis (aka The Invisible Man) - 7 PTS, 2 RB in 28 min. Rashard, unlike JJ, was the only one on his team negative in the +/- column. -

No question. Jameer is the captain, as the offense is initiated through him to Dwight (co-captain). David Steele is always calling him "The Little General" when he isn't calling him Mighty Mouse. -
Thanks for posting this Hawk. Nothing wrong with a little schedule analysis. They've tried to set up a Murder's Row schedule like this before on us, and the Magic have stepped up and played well. I have no doubt that we're capable of doing it again.

An A- is very fair, especially considering the additions and subtractions made this offseason. Also, you should take into account that we're over the salary. And this is one of the few articles that doesn't club us over the head with the mantra of "Hedo's gone, therefore we have no chance, abandon all hope.
