Houston, we have a solution. Whichever team can take Hedo, Duhon and JRich with him, while giving us future draft picks and big expirings is the best option. And Kevin Martin is not too shabby.

The Dwight Howard Drama Unfolds

I doubt Hennigan wants to start his tenure piecing off other GMs, like Otis with Cuban -
The Dwight Howard Drama Unfolds

IF (a big if) this is true, then we would be discovering how good Hennigan is in 5 years, when Howard has 3 rings with the Nets and we have gone Top 5 in the Lottery for a few years in a row. Oh, and we will still have Brook Lopez in a suit to remind us all of the lovely grant hill times. -

Totally on point..I don't see why it has to be all in one thread. Not good when someone's looking for fast info -
Disssapointed with the Orlando Magic trades
Manu Ginobili replied to magicgirl2's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Trades and signings by Hennigan are a disaster so far. This is all mostly Otis' fault, and the fact that our superstar is a whiny egocentric diva. Still, it is going to be really ugly the next 2/3 years at least. No matter what, will always be supporting the Magic, since it is my team forever. But I am gonna miss those days... -
A large TPE like the one we let expire when Otis was in command? We are in the worst position any NBA team could be. Stuck in the middle between rebuilding and contending. We are "nothings"
-
So we resign Redick and Nelson and we let Ryan go... Didnt we want to go younger? Rebuild? What kind of crap is Hennigan pulling? Looks like every GM we have is out there to screw us.

This is what I don't get about some NBA players. Being impartial about the situation: You are Ray Allen. You already won the ring in a memorable team. You earned over 100 million in your career. You have probably 2, 3 years tops of playing at the highest level. Decision to make: 1- Stay with the team you won the ring. The team you are already familiar with, the team that continues to shock all viewers by grinding out amazing victories in the playoffs. A team that is bound to make history because of the period this players stayed together. It can also offer you more money. A city with unmatched basketball tradition. 2- Leave for the new sensation. Go to to a team that is bound to win probably 2 out of the 3 rings in the years to come (your last years), and will be historically remembered by its 3 superstars teaming up. Go to a team in will you be the 5th option at best, and the championship stars photo won't even include you. How can Allen choose to go to the Heat? It baffles me. He had it everything in Boston. Is winning a ring UNDER LeBron, Wade and Bosh a better option than fighting for it all in an epic way ALONGSIDE Rondo, PP and Garnett?

Paul + two 2nd rd for Gordon + Aminu + big expiring + one future 1st I wouldnt be glad to send Dwight and Hedo for Bynum-MWP and scrub We need to find a better trade partner, and a better package

Resigning JJ - good move Signing Jameer - bad move 50% for hennigan so far
-
Anyone care to explain how Roy is going to play when he has no cartilage left?
-
We do not need stability right now. What we need is total, full power rebuild. Send all the crappy contracts with Dwight out. Get only young pieces that can be good for the future (Jameer isn't the case). Keep Ryan, JJ, BBD and the useful draft picks. Start over and hope to have a contender in 3/4 years.

Magic, Jameer Nelson agree to a new deal.

Nobody won. Or did he, because he considered this a good signing? Bravo! -
It was coming...the big famous "contraction" 4 "star flooded teams" in the East: Heat / Nets / Knicks / Celtics 4 in the West: OKC / Lakers / Clippers / Spurs Rest of the teams...rebuild or be a happy 6th seed and 1st round bound

You are right, Duhon lover. How's that magnificent Team D, by the way? -
Magic, Jameer Nelson agree to a new deal.

Really bad move. I would have hoped a real upgrade at PG and not declining Jameer The numbers for Dragic were not far apart. Everybody is thinking this is a bad move except Hennigan. -

8,2 per for 4 years ? Against 6,7 per for 3 years ? Dragic (youth, playmaking, overall much better) against Nelson (declining, injury prone, no D, undersized) REALLY??? -
Magic, Jameer Nelson agree to a new deal.
Manu Ginobili replied to TheOrlandoTragic's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Don't like this move at all. I never really loved/hated Jameer, but he is getting old and still no defense. He relied in athleticism for much of his game, and now it will be even worse. Hope he can cut down his stupid TOs and at least try in D. I was hoping for a Dragic, not for Nelson. -
Argentina my friend. There used to be 2 of us (MatiasJJ), but don't know what happened with the guy

Nets just became a perennial 2nd round contender Hawks just positioned themselves to be major players in the future Hope Henny opts for the latter
