Do YOU remember that Shaq averaged nearly 30 points in that series? ... and you're talking about 1 game where Howard got 9 blocks ... how about remembering the game where Shaq had 24 points, 28 rebounds and 15 blocks gimme a 'effin break Bob Kelso?
  2. Jesus was that Kobe elbow on Jameer not a foul?

    orlando targeting arroyo? (link)

I really doubt that Arroyo will accept coming back as a 3rd option and I think the team will be better of with him as the main sub. Remember, last year there where times when he looked better than Jameer, hence all the starting PG discussions on the board.

I think people mostly dont want him back because of his fans because he was a good backup PG that some nights outplayed Jameer. A PG of his caliber is definitely needed right now given the injury to Jameer. He is definitely better than AJ.

The Official Carlos Arroyo appreciation Thread

Well, even though he was truly unappreciated and unwanted by the Magic organization, he always did his best and in this last season did practically everything that the Magic wanted him to do, from starting to backing up to siting on the bench; from scorer to facilitator. Unfortunately for him, the Magic never really wanted him, and made no effort to keep him. Thank you for everything Carlos, I'm sure we'll see him in the NBA again.

I don't get the Darko bashing around here. People say he had chances in Detroit, Orlando and Memphis and screwed them all up. He never had a shot at Detroit where he couldn't be developed, but I think he did very well while in Orlando, he just didn't get enough minutes from Brain Hill. In fact, I remember the whole board in love with Darko, calling Brian Hill out for not playing him over Battie. Everyone was dying to have Darko back during the offseason and everyone was pissed at Otis for passing at him. How does that translate to Darko wasting his talent while he was here? As far as I remember, he was loved here and looked great besides Howard, even though we almost never got to see them together thanks to Hill.
  10. Why is Dooling called selfish if he does not take that crappy deal? Its crap! It's for a lot less money than he is worth and its not a long term deal. I would tell the Magic to shove it, especially since the Magic have Dooling's bird rights.

Magic to be patient in finding backup PG

Is it really the worst thing in the world to bring Arroyo back?
  12. I like Delfino, he is pretty much solid in everything and is a decent defender. He is also a big 2 guard so if its for cheap he would be an upgrade over our current SG's.
  13. LOL this reminds me of the Major League movie. "Are you saying Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball?!"
