GREAT POINT! i mean people are always quick to say D12 is a whiner! I tell those motherblubbers to check the tape!!!!!! Dwight gets hit more than anyone in the league! He gets mauled over and over again, and no call half the time! Over and over I have seen plays where D12 gets hammered,no call,then he complains meanwhile the play is developing already downcourt and he is still down on the other end OR he hustles back on D and gets a b.s. pittypatt foul! obviously after seeing what those scoundrels did in miami it appears even more so that we did not make a splash this offseason. BUT if u think about it we already had a great team. we didnt have to make the leaps the heat did. BUT with that said I am not sure we did enough to beat them... our whole squad has to be healthy.....

I got a chance to meet VC one day,the offseason b4 he signed with us. I was in the TGI fridays in Altamonte Springs(yeah baby SEMINOLE COUNTY!) and he walks in with this lady AND SHE WAS DECENT! But I quickly forgot about her when I realized I was sitting next to " VINCE FREAKIN CARTER"!!!The table they get are right next to me and when his "friend" goes to the bathroom, I make my move(as weak as it was). I proceed to attempt to "throw my voice" which basically consisted of me angling my hand around my mouth and saying "Vince!" He doesn't hear me apparently or he is tryin to ignore me(probably the latter)so I try again only a little louder. This time he kinda looks around with an aggitated look and sees me.(it's perfectly ok to yell someones name in a restaraunt!haha) I say to him, because all the sudden I feel like I am 10 years old,"Anyone tell you that you look like Vince Carter?"(i know that was original,lol)and he just kinda shakes his head. Then I say "You're Vince aint u?" He says yes. I am sure I said the usual things he hears all the time,"you're the greatest etc" and he was cool for the few seconds I got to talk to him. Then as I left I asked him " Why don't u come home to Central Florida and play with D12,you know you will get that ring you deserve?".....He kinda smiled and said naw...He said somethin about liking the arrangement he had at that time and I remember thinking he didn't seem very sincere about that...Then a few months later he was in a MAGIC uniform....I would like to say that I was responsible for bringing him here and not Otis! HAHAHAHA! I have gotten to meet alot of NBA players over the years but "bumping" into VC was one of the best! I really hope Mr Carter can find his groove again...We need him so bad especially with that hoopla down in area code 305...
