    Hedo for Calderon...

The Fans and the Media are calling for change or some heads up there. Charlie V will not cut it. They could appease the masses by doing that trade and picking up Carlos or Dooling or another serviceable PG while pairing up Bosh with a legit 2nd option.

Is Otis still the right GM to get us to a ring?

As long as he makes at least one move to get the a SG, PF, or better PG this summer I'll continue to give him the benefit of the doubt.

    Hedo for Calderon...

I would guess that either Ford learns a new role or he's gone but either way they aren't giving up Calderon. You don't think it could work at all? I mean they have Moon as Sg Hedo at SF and Bosh PF, there's promise there for them. I think they could be a good team with that but I can't see a team trading and excellent PG like that for a 3. I would be willing to bet that they could trade Ford for a 3 that may not be as good as Hedo but would allow them to keep Calderon. Look at it this way, we need a 2 right? What if we had Calderon and Jameer and had to get rid of one of them? That is basically the same situation that Tor is in right now. Hedo and JJ for Calderon(S&T) and their 1st????

    Hedo for Calderon...

Acquiring Calderon would be one of the few scenarios where it might be acceptable to trade Hedo. I feel the same way. Trade Hedo only IF it makes sense. I think this qualifies.

True, Fran can take Garrity's seat!

    Hedo for Calderon...

I was quickly browsing some Toronto sites and it seems that the concensus is that if Calderon gets some value in return its possible.

    Hedo for Calderon...

Yeah, He's a RFA so Toronto would sign and trade him to us. I don't know it seems that Toronto hasn't made up their mind as to who stays and who goes. A lot of people think TJ will stay.

    Thank You MAGIC

Great season all around. We have come a long way from where we were last season at this time. Thanks Magic!

    Hedo for Calderon...

Hey, guys I'm one of those year round visitors here. I don't post much, however in the off season I do more often since the threads often die much quicker. Anyway, here are my two cents. Hedo for Calderon and a pick in a sign and trade with us. Truely I think this benefits both teams nicely. Then the MLE to Pietrus and we have already upgraded our starting 5. Then draft the best PF on the board... Possible? Maybe!

Do you want Billups playing and healthy?

I don't want either of them in the next round. And in the finals I hope Kobe goes to jail on some old parking ticket warrants. Nobody cried for us when GHill was out all those years. Maybe we should have go a trophy for what could have been. Do you think they would cry if one of our big guns went down? And don't give me that stuff about how it isn't as big as it would have been if Chauncey/Garnett/Kobe/Paul/Whoever else was playing. It is a tournament and the team that wins gets that funny looking trophy. Who said those guys deserved a championship any more than us. And I will enjoy it just as much no matter who fell out on our way. Thank you, I feel the same way. As a Magic fan, I don't care for anyone else's injury problems. We suffered through half a decade of injuries. Plus according to Pistons fans they have a very deep team. So one player goes down and it all crumbles? I guess they are Billups and co.
  14. Meer you need to run, run and run some more. If Billups plays, make him pay until his hammy can't take it anymore.
  15. Individually the players that make up the Detroit Pistons are not the most impressive of fearsome group. However, it's a team sport. They always play within their system and much like the Spurs they embrace the team concept. Each player has a good understanding of what is needed and plays within their given role. So, why are we changing what we do? We have not played the way we played to get those 52 wins. We are forcing the issue too much. I love Dwight, but he is not ready to offensively carry us. How many turnovers did we have in the first quarter alone trying to force the ball inside to Dwight? At one point three straight turnovers because of bad, forced passes to Dwight. Plus we are not an aggressive, trash talking team. That's just not us. What we need is a steady diet of even distribution. Dwight, Lewis, Turk and Meer need to take just about the same number of shots. We need to pass the ball to the open man and stop forcing the issue. Why are we forcing the ball to Dwight when he is being doubled and a third defender in the area for help defense? Why? The reason we beat the Raptors was because we moved the ball to the open man. We didn't force anything. The third quarter of game two was our best. How did we do that? We moved the ball and got into our sets quicker. We can do that all day, so why aren't we.
  16. Anyway, we are down 0-2, but is not as bad as it seems. They won the two at home, that's what they were supposed to do. However, our guys should have gained some confidence in game 2. As long as we play our game and not try to outplay the Pistons at their game we should be ok. We have to force our will and not play into their comfort zone. We need to speed the game up. Agaisnt the Raptors, Howard used his size. Now agaisnt the Pistons he needs to utilize his speed and athleticism, because they can match up size.
  17. I don't mind visitors as long as they don't trash the place.
  18. Another thing is that SVG needs to set a rotation and stick to it. Foyle looked slow and rusty out there.

    The Dwight Howard Song

    hmm...
  21. Magic in 6! We take one form them at the palace and steal home court. We finish them up here at home. I think some people think that D12's monster series agaisnt the Raptors was an aberration. I don't think so. He's focused and Ewing won't allow him to let up. Add to that the sweep last year and Dwight is ready to take the next step. Plus, we won in the first round while not playing our best bball. I think that Hedo, Shard and Dwight will have a great series.

    WE MEET AGAIN!

Yup, it's going to be a good one. The Pistons are our obstacle and we have to compete with them in order to grow as a team. Plus, I've always like Sheed. Way back when he was a blazer going up agaisnt the lakers. I just like his intensity, maybe some of our guys can pick some up.

    NBA PLAYOFFS 2008 * Magic vs. Raptors * 4/20

I like it too, I don't want our guys to be satisfied with their play. They need to saty hungry!
