Magic going in for Chris Paul

My guess is that Otis will use the next week leading up to July 1 to try and secure a 3rd team and if he doesn't find one, the deal will be completed on the first day it "officially" can. +1

SHOOT FIRST POINT GUARD TO THE RESCUE!! I think that jameer is going to be huge in this series and dwight will actually be able to play because they can't foul him with only two able bodied big guys in Al and Zaza... WE WIN!!

    Cavs vs Bulls

Try having Rafer Alston score 26 points in game 4 of the ECF. Moon had a surprising stroke in last nights game but it's hard to feel that bad for the Bulls. They had 50+ points in the paint, 13 offensive rebounds, 20 more shots than the Cavs and only 4 TO's. To think they lost by 10, with all that in their favor, is a testament to how superior Cleveland is (or maybe how bad the Bulls are). or testament to how bad cleveland's interior defense is maybe? how do you give up that much in the paint to a very small bulls team? I hope that this is just this series or just the bulls being that good for the cavs sake... if you give up that much to the magic you loose... easily... Its the Shaq effect he only played 15 minutes in the game because he had foul trouble, Cavs have the best interior defense in the paint when Shaq is on the floor. And if you were to tell me that a team had 13 offensive rebounds and 20 more shots then there opponent and they lost I would say the other team was playing great defense. Anything the Cavs do go or bad Im not gonna count for them in this series, they still have to get everyone incorporated and fix some things up mainly turnovers and transition D. 50+ points in the paint= great defense? lol... ok... and the cavs won because you have lebron which is sad because you should be winning these games easily... as much as you guys want to make it out like the bulls are good, they're not... they have Rose and that's it. Noah is a spark plug but he should be getting dominated by shaq but shaq is out of shape even with loosing 20 lbs. I can't wait to see how our pick and roll destroys him... I forgot all defense is played in the paint, did you not read the part about Shaq? Him not in the game is the reason why they scored in the paint. Shaq played 15 minutes Noah played 41 minutes and Shaq is clearly not in game shape. He looks real good early in the games and looks tired late and thats directly linked to not being able to touch a ball for 6 weeks. Once he gets his wind back he will be good, we dont need him for the entire game only 25-30 minutes. As for Lebron how is it sad? He scored 40 on 23 shots thats efficient it would have been a different story if he was going one on 5 which he didnt or took 25-30 shots but he didnt. The Cavs helped set him to play one on one instead of him dribbling at the top of the key and jacking up a jumper. And he did get help from Shaq who had 8 pts and 7 rebs in 15 minutes, 14 pts from Jamison, 12 pts and 6 assists from Mo(no turnovers) and the bench produced. You're not worried about the fact that lebron basically had to play out of his mind in the fourth to beat the bulls at home? i mean the lead changed like 4 or five times... Against the bulls, this bulls team is not good. They do not match up well against the cavs and the cavs should beat the bulls without lebron not because of him playing out of his mind. That won't happen every night and to say that 8 pts and 7 rebs in 15 mins is support is kind of sad too... I'm not saying that this is the way the cavs are going to play against the magic or any other team at the top but if they do they're going to loose a lot more than they will win...

Everyone has been asking dwight about his points because they don't get that we don't need him to score 20 to win. We have plenty of players that can hit the shot. Take away Dwight, you get jameer, take jameer away you have vince, take them away you have rashard and pietrus... good luck stopping all of them. The only thing another team can hope for is that they all suck at the same time or one of those guys think that they have to force it. Our defense in the playoffs is always there.

    Lebron James

I think a lot of it is kind of funny... i mean the cavs were tied with the bulls going into the fourth qtr., THE BULLS!! the team that had to win they're last game and have a toronto team with no bosh loose... AND they still act smug. I understand that James was getting trash talked by the bench and the wink thing was justified, but the moon thing? holding up 3 fingers when hit a three? he's not even a 3 pt shooter... The Cavs should be winning these games by 20 points everytime but they're letting the bulls out hustle them and get in they're heads. It took Jamario moon's threes and Shaq's free throws as well as an unstoppable lebron to get passed a sorry no post defense bulls... If i were a Cavs fan i'd be pissed off and freaked out... with that kind of effort i'd be wondering if we can make past boston let alone the magic.

Is dwight being managed by the NBA?

I don't think that refs like dwight all that much either. It's hard to get 3 good refs for every game in the playoffs. Too bad by the conference finals we'll have all the old fogey's again and have bad officiating in that one too. Stern needs to pay his refs and stop being cheap. Refs are a major issue in the nba and i don't really see that many problems in other major sports.

Is Turk on the move? - ESPN

Where's DOM to tell us we're all idiots for even thinking this is possible?? I don't know if the raptors will even be able to sign and trade him or if they'd even want to. They'll probably just let'em walk so they can tell their fans they tried and he just wouldn't cooperate. I see him more than likely just leaving to another team without a sign and trade all together.

quote: Originally posted by Faux Hawk: quote: Originally posted by Soul Bro:Lol. Good job, Otiz, for passing on Turk. You took a beating but it was the correct decision. Now wait a second. Think about what the article says. It says Hedo might be packaged with Chris Bosh in a S&T. How funny would it be if we pulled that off, got Hedo and Bosh, since I would bet we would be one of the few teams willing to take Hedo. We S&T for Bosh and give them Shard, Gortat & JJ. That trade would instantly revamp the Raptors. Gortat would start, Lewis can be their go to guy and JJ has shown he is ready to start in the NBA. It might be the best deal they can get for a Bosh/Hedo package. And not to forget that Bosh and Howard are very very good friends. Starting 5 Nelson Carter Hedo Bosh Howard Bench 5 Williams Pietrus Barnes Bass Battie (we go get him for the Vet Min) Bringing back Hedo would give us another ball handler and worth the price of his contract if we can get Bosh with him. i would jiz in my pants if we got bosh but i don't see it happening... it is otiz tho, MAKE IT HAPPEN OTIS!! lol
