i dunno, I'd rather have Anderson and Bass playing well and Arenas (who could go off for 30 in an important game later on) than Lewis and Duhon.
-
JRich, Duhon, QRich, etc. We probably should have let Dwight try to pass Robinson's 71 tonight.
-
Dwight looked like Shaq in his prime tonight. Gilbert at times looked pretty good. I got all excited when he hit his first two shots in the fourth. I thought "Oh man, if this gets Gil going watch out!" but it looks like he failed to capitalize on this opportunity. His decision making is just terrible. You can't blame that floating pass on his knee. Shooting he looked ok. Good enough for a backup point guard but not good enough for someone who's supposed to be an explosive guy.

RealGM does have its quality posters though. Their board is just less moderated than this one.

Making The List: The Top 25 Orlando Magic Players of All Time: #4
Fultz4thewin replied to Secretly Space Jesus's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Yeah i kinda agree with this. I only put Jameer ahead of Lewis because Lewis only played in 257 regular season games with the magic while jameer has played in 435 -
Kemp isn't eligible yet due to his comeback attempts. Chambers probably should be. Iverson's teams weren't much better and that's what makes him one of the best players of the last decade. Iverson putting that team on his back was ridiculous.

Turk real comfortable in return to Orlando....
Fultz4thewin replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
well yeah, if that happens. I'd think JJ would start though. Our team would take a significant step backwards with that roster though. -
That's ridiculous. You can't say someone is right because fans operate irrationally. You can't not have the focus on him because the entire series was focused on him. He was the premier guy in the series. Once Detroit figured out how to limit McGrady our fate was sealed. Go back and look at the box scores for that playoff series. You get a healthy Grant Hill in there and a decent PG that can play defense and it's an entirely different franchise. Mcgrady likely doesn't need to play 47 and 46 minutes in games 3 and 4. He doesn't burn himself out. We don't lose the series. He doesn't hate being here. We win more games the next year. We don't get Dwight. We don't go to the finals in 07-08... But anyways, I don't see how you can blame a player for losing a series when he scores 43 out of our 99 points in game 1, 46 out of 77 in game 2, 29 out of 89 in game 3, 27 out of 100 in game 4, 19 out of 67 in game 5, 37 out of 88 in game 6, and 21 out of 93 in game 7. Look at that roster and tell me you would want any of those players from that year on our team today. Our playoff roster that year would be the equivalent of surrounding Kevin Durant with this roster: Jason Williams/Marcus Banks/Anthony Carter Rudy Fernandez/Gerald Henderson Durant Amir Johnson/Vladamir Radmanovic Spencer Hawes/Eric Dampier/Solomon Alabi Give him that team and ask him to beat the Utah Jazz or San Antonio.

Turk real comfortable in return to Orlando....
Fultz4thewin replied to ball junkie's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
the funny thing is his value has tanked so if we did want him back we could get him. The problem is he doesn't really have a spot in the rotation anymore. -
You're wrong. A TEAM choked away a 3-0 playoff lead, not a player. The only reasons we won games 2 out of the first three games was the fact that he put up 43 points in game 1, 46 points in game 2, and 29 points in game 3. You could argue that he choked in game 7 when he only had 21 points on 7/24 shooting but its easy to defend a team that only has one option on offense. He just ran out of gas. We lost game 2 of that series while McGrady put up 46 points and the rest of our team put up 29. 29 POINTS!!! McGrady went 16/26 in that game and 10/11 from the line. The rest of the team went 11/42. How can you blame McGrady for that? Our second best player was either Gordon Giricek or Drew Gooden. Giricek was only good because he hit open jumpshots when teams doubled Mcgrady. Gooden got a lot of rebounds and scored a high % of his points off of putbacks. 02-03 Giricek wouldn't make this current years magic team. 02-03 Gooden would play the same role that Malik Allen does. You're letting your emotions cloud your logic. McGrady was a jerk for quitting on this team and leaving the way he did especially considering if he stuck around for one more year we would have been awesome. a Nelson/Mcgrady/Hill(hedo)/battie/Dwight lineup with Stevenson on the bench.

McGrady Is Pistons Starting Point Guard?
Fultz4thewin replied to TrueMagicFan07's topic in Around the NBA/Globe Game
Uhh, you're wrong on this one. hypothetically if one were to shoot 10/19 with no threes or fts that would be a good line. 20 points on 19 shots is just over 1.05 points per shot. It's not great, but it's not horrible for one game. Guys like Roy Hibbert, Tyreke Evans, Baron Davis, etc are averaging that over the course of this season. -
he's been much better than duhon offensively

Arenas vs. Clark: They Go One-On-One
Fultz4thewin replied to Dan Savage's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
pretty sure it's anderson's 15pts 6 rebounds and 1block in only 25 minutes per game in the month of january -
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of a huge chat room, it was the age of spam bots, it was the epoch of three point shooting, it was the epoch of hating on Nelson, it was the season of hope, it was the season of Dwight leaving Orlando rumors, we had a great team before us, we had a flawed team before us, we were all going directly to a championship, we were all going direct the other way-- in short, this season is so far unlike any season we've ever had, yet, some of our noisiest negative posters insist on Nelson being received, after good play or poor play, in the negative degree of comparison only.

Orlando Magic - Contenders or Pretenders?
Fultz4thewin replied to FlawlessVictory's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
the only thing that's changed is people don't have the confidence of someone labeled a "perimeter defender" in our rotation anymore. -
so you'd let your friend die because they were ugly?
-
I always thought the Joker used that time to get away with everyone's money. If you rob a rich party are you going to wait for the cops to get back?

i might have fixed that today when i resynchronized the forum. That fixed the time/date problem for threads so maybe it fixed this too.
