First, I'd like to say that I am one of those "fans" who became interested in Magic because of Arroyo. It's not a sin, sometimes teams simply gain support because of a specific player rather than from their geographical location. I tried to remain mostly silent and objective although I read the forum from time to time. I do get very annoyed by the posters who spend day and night defending Arroyo, not so much for their arguments but for the amount of posts. Things are better said with less words. I'd like to point out however a humble opinion... Behind all the ugly and irrational discussions, insults, etc. there was a very true controversy in regards to Arroyo. When he played decent minutes his production was good and the team won as often, yet in the end he was treated like another expendable bench fixture. PLEASE do not respond to this; no more need for debates at this point. I say let's just remember Carlos's tenure with the Magic for his maturity and professionalism in handling the situation... He was always ready to play or sit on the bench with the same enthusiasm. I will still check on the Magic once in a while. I hope they do well with the new transactions. Aside from that I thank you for all the entertainment the forum provided as I killed time on airports, medical offices etc. Goodbye and Good Luck!

I have not been around a while... I see all this talk about acquiring a backup PG, and that Keyon Dooling will be let go because of money issues. Why is Arroyo not even mentioned in news articles or discussions? I thought he was playing well as a starter, with good stats, et. Is he on another team? Anyone?

Why such anger at not sending Arroyo away??? You are forgetting that the benching of Arroyo is a decision of only a few games ago -NOT because of poor play- and therefore yet unproven as the definite decision. We have seen JN get into unproductive streaks (added to when he is injured) a little too often... If the current rotation had been established for a month or two, then it would be a different case. It must not be forgotten that the team usually won with CA as the starting PG.

Carlos Arroyo acted like an idiot child in last night's game. He shouted "Youre really bad" to a poor foreigner referee (the game is in PR) right in his face, right before 4th Quarter tipoff. The game was open and virtually finished by then. Embarrasing.

It actually seemed to me that they don't communicate so well while on court, and that there is a better click among Dwight and J. Nelson. I hope I'm wrong though.

VERY GOOD decision by Coach Hill to put in Dooling for the decisive defensive play. For once Coach Hill took advantage of the abilities of all his different point guards.

Please realize that the people who hang around this forum have had headaches about Carlos Arooyo's discussions, because thare have been tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many and they all say the same thing, and worse, they all spark ugly controversy.
