I understand he's a rookie but Isaac only getting 3 FGAs while Biyombo tossed up 8 in fewer minutes is dumb -

I don't think Aaron even needs a great jumper to put up all-star type numbers--he could get close to 20 a game finishing on PNRs and beating 4's off the dribble. That said, if his 3PT shot isn't around 35% this season I'll be a bit disappointed. I'd rather him get the shot attempts than see Vucevic waste possessions with garbage long twos. -

I'll be pissed if Gordon isn't leading the team in shot attempts. -

Isaac making this type of impact despite being about ~20 lbs underweight is surprisingly awesome. And Mario blows, send him to the Kings. -

DSJ's looked great and is a hell of a lot flashier but it's not like Isaac was an uncoordinated stiff in SL, he racked up solid numbers in pretty limited minutes. -
Okay I understand the disappointment in passing on Smith but Monk over Isaac is a joke. Harkless comp is comically off-base too.
-
I mean I liked DSJ too but there's a fair chance he ends up an empty calories player who puts up volume stats but doesn't help a team win. Given how much our team blows, going for the guy left on the board with the most upside made sense. Contract year Trevor Ariza but with elite defense and size for his position is about an all-star spec player too.
-
I'm v surprised DSJ fell all the way to 9. 100% thought Chicago and NYC would've taken him.
-
Can't say management's behavior at the end of the 1st round inspired any confidence, guess we're gunning for Luka Doncic next year. I see Isaac's best case as Rashard Lewis with elite defense.
-
Lauri would be so dumb because then Gordon is back at the 3. Don't screw this up Hamweltz.
-
Lol why this dude using college PPG and PER stats as if they mean anything.
-
I think Smith has a threat to go as high as 3 but a team can very easily convince themselves that Fox or Ball are preferable options. As much as we all like DSJ, he was bad on defense, wasn't a very good teammate, really streaky at times, and didn't sport a good % on his 2PT jumpers.
-
lol, SVG's out of his mind. The Pistons are junk and a vet isn't gonna save that sinking ship.
-
How is Frank Ntilikina a lottery pick when he plays in Europe and his best asset is his defense?
-
I think DSJ has a good shot at being the best guard in the draft. The way he absorbs contact and finishes while having great explosion are superstar level qualities. He's not quite pre-injury Rose but pretty damn close. I'm p rettyworried that he might go as high as 3rd to Philly. Fultz's bad FT% plus high number of FTAs has me thinking his shooting stats are little suss. He didn't do quite as well against NBA-level wings in college so there's some concern with his 'smooth' athleticism. Josh Jackson I want no part of. He isn't going to be able create at all against NBA athletes with his weak handle and below average wingspan. I think it's highly doubtful he'll draw fouls as good as Wiggins too. I doubt he's on our radar so I'll feel bad for whatever team wastes a pick on Moe Harkless with better passing. I've warmed to Monk a bit. I think he can be Beal good. Still don't really want him however. Ball needs pretty much every single one his skills to translate in order to be good. He's a bench dude if that doesn't happen. I really hope LA picks him.

It's astonishing that Oladipo was actually *worse* this season playing next to an MVP than on a 35 win Magic team. Thank goodness we're not paying him. Shooting guard Jeff Green. -

Oladipo is so bad in pressure situations -
Oladipo was bad this year in OKC (playing next to the MVP and actually had worse advanced stats this year than last). I've always pressed that Fournier could be really good if he's next to an elite scorer but he sucks when he's basically a 1A/1B guy.

Melo is terrible and is probably like 2-3 years from retirement. -
Think I'd like to keep Lloyd as GM and hire one of these dudes as Prez of BBall Ops

Probably the worst season in franchise history in terms of the product on the floor. 2003-2004 at least had T-Mac balling out every so often. -
No, Curry's AST% in college was PG level. He was capable of running an offense while being score first. Monk's AST% is lower than Eric Gordon, Mayo and Foye.
-
Monk is a bench player in the NBA Zero defense and no PG skills.
