lol, you might too if you were as accident prone as vince is. just sayin'. i have actually never seen arenas play so i'm still learning. i'm a relatively new fan, having become obsessed entirely by accident, but enjoy discussing all this stuff and have no one else to argue over it with (besides the occasional friends on facebook who get overly pissed off at losses and become jazz fans).

i meant more the 80'16" type, but hey, a lot of people who are more educated in the ways of trading seem to think that arenas would/is going to be a good fit for us. i, personally, still believe in vc. he's had too many injuries to have time to mesh, he played great at the beginning of the season, and he's probably harder on himself than any of us are so he's bound to improve. in addition, he's OLD. he's quite possibly dealing with his mid-life identity crisis on a professional basketball court in front of thousands of people a night. we need to have a little humanity and cut him some slack. speaking of which, happy birthday, old man.

as awesome as REM is, this thread's title is a little misleading.

barnes has been great since van gundy decided to start him. i'm glad he was given the chance to prove that he can be an even bigger defensive motivation when given more time to do it. i also agree that he's an amazing value, the perfect addition for the money. with that said, his last few games have been a little weak but he's not all-star material so it's expected that he's going to have a couple off nights. as far as an A? i don't know about that, like someone said previously, that leaves little room for improvement and they can all stand to improve somewhere.
