    Yahoo ranks Magic #1

    I don't agree to some of their rankings... 1. Magic 2. LA 3. Boston 4. San Antonio 5. Portland 6. Cleveland 7. Denver 8. Dallas 9. Utah 10. Wizard
  2. oh my god~ he is not hedo turkoglu you delusional fans... why not call him the next jordan while you're at it... ryan anderson can not handle the ball nor create his own shot... how is he a mini hedo... what the heck?

    Best Rotation

    Improved JJ Redick...

He has an NBA body now!!! but the problem w/ him is that he rushes his shots most of the time... if he can slow down a lil bit and gathers himself before he shoots... he can be a stud... just need to play more under CONTROL and not shooting the ball like a maniac...
  5. quote: Originally posted by ThisIsTheYear:Well, unlike most of those chat losers that stayed home and watched the game through a blurry, laggy feed, I attending the game...all the way in the upper bowl. Nevertheless, it was a solid seat (Thanks again to DWHITE9), and my observations are gold. The Good: 1. Rashard Lewis -Shard was straight baller, shot caller. Hit his shots at a good clip and pissed off Chase Budinger. Nothing more to say. 2. Brandon Bass -Just a fantastic addition. I love how he calls the ball in the post on seemingly every possession. Bullied his way to the basket on several occasions and is simply automatic from midrange. Though honestly, who didn't already know this? His freethrows were surprisingly shaky, though. 3. Warlock -Only one player raised the decibel level above the mark so frequently set by Johnathan Clay Redick, and that was the Polish Hammer. Even more so than his vicious slamma jammas, he sent the crowd into a frenzy with each and every demoralizing block. He was also one of the only players hitting freethrows at a consistent rate. 4. Jameer Nelson -Good all-around game. Shot looked smooth, dribble penetration was solid, playmaking was great. Looks back to normal. 5. Jay Jay Redick -He looked great. Shot 3-8, though it seemed higher. Every shot was taken in the flow of the game, passed well, defended adequately. Good game. 6. Dancers -A lot hotter this year, I must say. Who played alright 1. Vince -I thought he played well. He's struggling to find that outside jumper, but most of them are either open or in rhythm. Cold stretches come and go. I liked seeing him attack the rim aggressively. 1. RyAn -Played well. As perfect a fit on the team as any role player could be. Got taken to the whole by Landry a couple of times, but solid defensively otherwise. The Bad: 1. Matt Barnes -When watching a game via television or internet stream, one seems to focus almost solely on the ball handler, while those who attend the games tend to be more selective. Barnes was invisible offensively and decent defensively. A couple of frustration fouls on Trevor. Didn't look to do much other than camp out on the right wing. 2. J-Will -No reason to delve deeply into the play of your backup PG, but he played like A.J. offensively, which alone places him in the bad column. 3. Officials -They improved a lot in the second half, but were unbearable throughout a particular span in the second quarter. I hate Kyle lowry. The Ugly: 1. Arena food services -$4.00 for a small bucket of pop-corn, and no free cups of water? For shame. 2. Freethrows -They sucked. 3. Seats to my right -Two of the most obnoxious women sat to my right, and it nearly drove me to insanity. Constantly fought each other with the noisemakers with no regard for those around them. Called themselves Cougers in front of everyone and leaned into me each and every minute to pick up the noisemaker that flew to my side. Just awful. Other -Budinger's gonna be a player. Plays like Ray Allen, looks like the Heat Mascot/Beeker. Got into a little scuffle with Rashard and refused to shake hands afterward. Looks to be an effective pro. -Taylor has all the makings of a solid 6th man. Has great lateral quickness, an improving jumper, and can jump out of the building. -For two minutes, Linton Johnson looked like Bo Outlaw. Like I said, two minutes. -Vince and T-Mac spoke to each other for most of halftime. -Cook and Ariza on the same team. I thought it was funny. The Magic are 3-0 and will advance to the preseason Final Four. I though Lewis was unstoppable down low, the magic should definitely explore him more at the 3 this season... he made everyone who played small forward for Houston Rocket his b!tch tonight... including Ariza... no one could stop him at the three position.. period.. and he looked more comfortable there... Bass is just a beast.. he is like a darker Charles Barkley... small but played like a bull... I am not toooo concerned about his free throw... he knows his shot and his mechanic is 10000 times better than Howard's.. anyway, he should be a 80% free shooter so I won't read too much into the missed free throws... Carter played alright... when he put the ball on the floor, no one could stop him either... he is a far more advanced penetrator than Hedo was... Gortat is playing with so much confidence now... this guy has the best defensive footwork other than KG (before he was hurt)... I really like his progress...

Magic Believe This is Their Year (Hoopsworld)

I believe it too.. this is Magic's year to win it all.. enjoy it guys!

    VC's playin' PG,SF - To make room for J.J.(pg. 2)

JJ is an insurance now in case if someone gets injured... same goes to Ryan Anderson... If the magic can find a good deal before the trade deadline, expect one of them or maybe both to get traded
  8. I've noticed that Vince has already told Dwight to shoot with more arc... Vince is an excellent shooter with great shooting form... and he understands his shot... Vince will push Howard to another level for sure
  9. you guys have no idea how good this combination will work out... Dwight + Vince... I expect both to have a career year this season...

Anyone else wish we still had Alston?

not really, J-Will has the same mad ball handling skill as well and is a better shooter and passer. He will replace Alston just fine
  11. cowyaoman

Could we find a way to acquire Chris Paul?

why don't we trade for lebron james while youre at it? and kobe too
  12. cowyaoman

    Gabe Pruitt?

let's just trade for dooling or blake... i'll take blake over dooling though.. blake has a brain
  13. blake is a smart player but he is on the decline... i think duhon would fit this team better.... ridnour is a nono... plz go away

    Bruce Bowen to Orlando?
