Wow I just noticed that Harris and Black have a combined 0 points?! Is that a misprint? How can that be?
-
Someone call Turk, or Rashard, or how about JJ? Those were the days. Oh those were the days!
-
Precisely! Need some shooters who can spread the floor and open things up for Paolo and Franz. And to acquire a point guard with some veteran leadership who is also a viable 3-point threat would have been ideal. However, they are seeking to do things their way by going for length and guys who supposedly can play defense. Remember back in 2009 how we played? Inside out with Dwight and our 3-point snipers. Such a successful blueprint on how a playoff team should be folks.
-
Yes. Exactly! We need a couple of shooters as well as a veteran type presence at point guard. What would have been ideal would have been to acquire said point guard who is also a three-point threat. Spread the floor and open things up for Paolo and Franz. Without that your assessment is spot on.
-
3-point shooting was the major difference in the loss tonight. And unfortunately, that will be the same results in the playoffs. Pack the paint and get physical with Franz, while forcing us to shoot from outside. It's an easy recipe for success when you have a poor 3-point shooting team.

The Knicks shot 63 percent in the first quarter. That won't come close to getting it done on any level. Once it was announced that Brunson was back, and that Suggs would be out it was a done deal folks. You just knew that Brunson was gonna go off for 35 plus in the Knicks win. But hey it is what it is. A 2-1 road trip is still a successful one. And being in the 5 spot and only a half game behind the Knicks for number 4 is still quite impressive. Another big game on Sunday versus the Pacers. Need to play better in that one to quiet all of the doubters here.

Losing is no laughing matter. Remember in Rocky when Rocky's wife said to him "you can't win". It was the one where he was about to fight Mr. T in Russia.
-
It looks as if the Knicks want it more to be quite honest. It is more important for them, and they know it. And Suggs is sitting out with a bruise? Kobe once played with an ankle that was swelled up like a balloon.

Now that's the way to stay positive folks! I am actually thinking about writing a book about the importance of positivity in our daily lives. I just don't think it will sell many copies though.
-
Wow that's a bad loss for them. And Cleveland losing to the Hawks as well. Tonight was like living in an alternate universe or something.
-
The Cavs and Sixers both lost tonight. What a profitable evening.
-
I picked the Cavs to beat the Hawks and they lost. I picked Philly to beat the high school team in Memphis and they are about to lose. So, a couple of picks I get wrong here and there. No need to get feisty fans of other teams.
-
Now I'm catching some grief from Wizards fans for picking their team to win tonight. Geez. Can't catch a break. Knicks and Sixers fans were upset at me last night too when I picked their teams to win. Quite frankly they should be honored that I am picking their teams to win. I can't figure out all of the hostility and disdain. I mean, as we all know, whenever I make a pick, I am usually money in the bank.
-
At least I got half off Papa John's pizza tonight and tomorrow night! Gotta look at the glass half full at all times.
-
Folks this is why we can never quit on this basketball team. EVER. They showed a tremendous amount of character tonight with this incredible come from behind victory. It's all about staying positive in the face of adversity. It's like what Bubba said to Forest Gump "life is like a box of chocolates. you never know what you're gonna get". We must never stop believing. When the going gets tough the tough get going. Staying positive is what it's all about folks.
-
It's a "giveaway" game tonight as they rest a bunch of guys and it's a back-to-back. That's why I am about to make some easy money tonight from a bunch of coworkers.
-
At least I'll get my money. I had this on lock from the beginning. Smelled it coming from a mile away, as if I were catching a whiff of a Whopper sizzling on the grill at McDonalds.
-
Actually, the biggest deficit tonight was 21 I believe. Although at times it felt like it was by 30 plus!
-
If we don't play defense. There is no chance to win tonight. NONE. Once the lead stretched to 21 the game was over. In the second half it will swing back and forth from an 8 point deficit to a 16 point deficit. It's a giveaway game folks. When I found out that it was such I bet some people in my office 300 bucks that the Wizards would snag the win tonight before the game. They all said that the Wizards are horrible and that they have lost 15 straight. They were all eager to take that bet. At least I'll make a little something this evening to make up for such a horrible game.
-
The Wizards are playing carefree and loose. Poole is having fun out there. He was mocking the Magic at times. Looked like Goga wasn't too happy about it.
-
I hate to say it, but does anyone here think we would benefit greatly from a decent point guard that can get us into correct sets and direct the team accordingly? A nice veteran acquisition at the deadline would have been tremendous folks. A lot of wild one on one out there with little or no direction. Causing a lot of havoc resulting in numerous turnovers.
-
With the Magic loss tonight and the Sixers win over that high school team in Memphis we will now drop back down to number 7 in the standings. However, only a half game behind the Knicks for the 4 spot. But if we keep playing like this then..well...I'm sure we all know how things will end.
-
Are you familiar with the term "giveaway game?" That is what tonight is. Coaches essentially mail it in by resting key players and starting a couple of guys on offense that make it appear as though they are playing 3 on 5 when they have the ball. (Goga and Black)
-
Exactly! It's been smoke and mirrors recently. We've been getting lucky playing horrible teams with all these turnovers. Once we start playing against the top tier teams we will get destroyed. Most of them are unforced turnovers. Horrible. Just horrible!
-
If the turnovers don't stop then we have no shot against the Knicks, Pacers, Heat, etc. NONE.
