    I can't wait for the game. I just hope the Magic players can approach the game with the focus and intensity that is required. It's not what we saw in the last few games, but tonight is another opportunity to redeem  that. 

    Is there any news about Franz, GH, JI?

     

    And it's also true that when you're able to step back and stare the long term and what's ahead of this team with two 21 and 22 year old stars, you feel pretty good about it. But that's something to think about when the season is over, today what matters is approaching the game in the right ways. And if it's possible, to win it.

    The feeling I got from yesterday's game is one of concern. Houston beat us in energy. Many live ball turnovers, which gave them easy transitions and a tendency to impose the pace of the game.
    When the defense got a little tidier in the second half, our offense wasn't there. The second unit was again better than the starters in this regard. We didn't have Franz, but I too don't quite understand Mosley's minutes distribution to replace him.

    Now have an early mini-playoff series against the Bucks and a rough game against the Sixers and it's been already several games where the intensity hasn't been what it needs to be for a game of this magnitude. If Franz is ok, he should be back today, same for JI, I agree that we are not in a position to save anyone for later. Giannis is probably gonna be out for both games.
    It's been a hell of a season, it would be a shame to drop to play-in at the last second.

    Difficult game tonight. Minnesotta is very tough and I think they have a lineup that matches up well against ours. But the Magic have surprised us before in this kind of game.

    I am also very excited about JI's progress this season. I don't think he will ever be a fully healthy and available player, but if he could grow in minutes and be THAT player in a handful of playoff runs, he could be a difference maker.

    Great game last night. Nothing spectacular on offense, really. I think the win came thanks to the defensive concentration and effort of our players. 
    Give me Mo Wagner every time to change the pace of a game.
    Fultz was again very good, I think many are going to have to swallow some of the words from the last few weeks. I think anyone who watches his last two games can see that beyond him not having an outside shot, he is a constant concern for the defense when he moves between the lines and finds ways to the basket. He is really clever, tonight he had 5 steals and 0 turnovers. Of course, if you can bring in Tyus Jones, go for it. But Markelle is the only real point guard on the team and as much as we all love Anthony Black, he's not even in the same league as Markelle right now. If we want to win, Fultz is our only option. And I'm ok with that.

    Gary Trent Jr is shooting 54% from 3 on open catch and shoot jumpers this season. 

    If you can't make a bigger splash I'd trade for him honestly. Shoots the ball, gets in passing lanes, experience playing with star PF, is still young, younger than Okeke for example. He's not like a great defensive player by any stretch and he's not much of a passer or rebounder either but he spaces the floor legitimately and can do some scoring off the dribble.

    It's not like a home run move but it'd help offensively.

    I'm all in. I already said yes to Gary Trent when Toronto traded Anunoby. I'm sure there's better players out there, but if you can get him, get him.

     

    I just want this to finish this experimental starting line up. We are suffering with Chuma, Goga and Caleb at the floor. I wanna see Fultz-Suggs-Ingles-Paolo-WCJ because I want to win. Hopefully Franz comes back next week.
