How does everyone feel about Charlie Villanueva?

quote: Although your quote is spot on(I am indeed a smartass with no facts), your logic makes no sense. The players don't feel the weight of 45 years without a title on their shoulders. They play for now, not the past. Even if that was a factor, you can't count that as adversity. Adversity is getting down in a series or going through a losing streak or losing major players to injury. Not some perceived burden of a title drought. haha. You obviously have never met a Cleveland sports fan, or know the media in Cleveland. When ever any team has success in Cleveland, they are reminded of the drought. They are reminded of the 1964 Browns. Playing with Cleveland on your chest is adversity. Cus they know that nobody wins in Cleveland. It just doesn't happen.

quote: I honestly dont think leaving the arena with no comment, not having the guts to face the media after the loss to us, and showing up two days later with a Yankee cap on to answer questions is a glowing recommendation of your team. Team chemistry stretches way beyond taking fake pictures on the side of the court. And now you just picked up a player that lashes out at anyone that doesn't agree with his bent logic. Charlie V should fit in well. Wow. How times change. Just a week or so ago a lot of Magic fans were lovin CV. Wanting him bad. But now that he is out of the question, the man is a head case. There must have been a lot of CV stories aired on ESPN about how much of a team cancer he is. Must of missed it.

No, I just don't know why anybody would want one perimeter power forward who can't play D, let alone another who won't. quote: And how are the Cavs a disfunctional collection? They added Shaq. Thats it. They had the best chemistry in the NBA bar none last year. It's easy to have chemistry when you're riding LeBron's jock. What happened when they got tested? You think that finger pointing was amussing, wait until next year! Mo Williams, Shaq, & Charlie V = notorious malcontents. LeBron = prima donna, growing frustration This collection will be great as long as they never run into adversity. LMAO Seriously? Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Where was the finger pointing? Mo blamed himself if I remember. And adversity? You're talking about a team from Cleveland. A team that holds the hopes of an entire city. 45 years and counting now. No title. Thats adversity.

I wouldn't either if I played for the Bucks. A change in atmosphere can do a lot for a player. CV is a guy who has been a winner all his life until he was a lotto pick. You put a winner in to a good situation, and the work ethic increases, and the will to do anything to win increases. Not saying he will turn into a lock down defender, but he will learn, and be a better defender. Charlie V has been well known for his questionable character, work ethic, & desire since he was in HS. Milwakee is the only losing situation he's ever been in. Cavs are quickly becoming the most disfunctional collection of malcontents ever assembled. I can see in now if the Magic signed him. We'd have the more athletic Ryan Anderson & the less athletic Charlie V ?? You really think that Ryan Anderson is a better player then CV?? And how are the Cavs a disfunctional collection? Change as in he went from a bad team to a worse team? Sounds like the presidency :P

CV will likely go to Cleveland. And no, the cavs will not "crush" the Magic. Cv does make the team better (and deeper if Andy re-signs) but he is not the end all. just like shaq is not the end all. We still need another solid bench defender. And when I say "we", I think you know who i'm a fan of. and its not the Knicks.

Bucks don't extend qualifying offer to Charlie V

Cavs can only offer him the MLE. I have a feeling that he will be in Cleveland. Cavs will still be looking to get a solid wing defender/scorer off the bench (i.e. Matt Barnes or Anthony Parker)

Delusional Cav fans happy with VC trade...

A Cavs fans take.... First off, Cavs fan know for a fact that Shaq is not the solution. We all know that another piece needs to be added. i.e. a PF who can stretch the floor ( Charlie V, Sheed). We are basically looking for a poor mans Lewis. The Shaq trade was a great trade for a few reasons. He can still do much more then Ben Wallace and Pavs ever could. He and Z both get to split time and save there aging legs. He has an expiring contract of 20 mil. Helps save some cash for that 2010 offseason. My view on the VC trade. This would be considered a great trade, IF the Turk stays. This does not appear to be the case. So what this does is bring peitrus off the bench and into the starting line-up. I think he will do just fine. But, he is more of a energy guy off the bench to give a lift. So... The line-up of Howard, Lewis, Peitrus, Carter, Nelson will be the best starting five in the NBA.... but what about the bench?? Who backs Nelson? What about Carter or Peitrus? Lewis? I know they will probably keep Gortat, who is a solid bench player. But the bench is weak. I want to hear some answers to these questions. And I would gladly answer any you have...
