Defense just not there tonight. Can't stop JJ. Doesn't look good unfortunately. Would take an epic collapse by Philly to get this one.

It is amazing how when you compare the Magic and Philly, two teams that have tanked for so long, how much further along the Sixers are compared to us. Probably because they stuck with the same coach through the whole process and drafted more offensively talented players. They also pulled off some nice trades while we pretty much haven't.

I said earlier the key to victory in the second half would be to stop JJ. Hasn't happened. Once again he is leading the charge. It always appears as though he takes great pleasure in beating us.

I think stopping JJ in the second half is gonna be key to getting the victory. He was the reason why they won the first time we played them. Embiid and Vooch will pretty much cancel each other out. Need to put the clamps on Redick.

Vooch is bringing it tonight! What a first half. Absolutely love the effort out there tonight. Guys diving on the floor for loose balls. The effort. The emotion, The enthusiasm. It's on there on full display. The crowd is lathered into a frenzy. This is what Magic basketball is all about!

Washington won this game at the free throw line. Like the way the offense is rounding in to shape. Defense is improving too. Need to win these next two games coming up at home. Magic are 6-8 now. 4-2 in the next 6 games would be nice. That would be a 10-10 record at the quarter mark. Not too shabby! Go Magic!!!
