Yeah, I don't know how an amazing defensive team with bad offense would do in today's NBA.

And you have to think about keeping all our young guns together, salaries etc. And we'd have little money to spend on offense

And don't get me wrong, I would still be pumped if we drafted Bamba. I just think that we definitely have to look at what else is available and if there is a guy who looks like he can be a legit scorer in the league, you gotta go for it. Unless the plan is to try to unload Gordon in the near future for a piece or two.

I love me some Mo Bamba. But what the hell is gonna happen on offense next year if we draft him and lose Vuc and Evan? We would legitimately be the worst offensive team in the league depending on other moves and Gordon/Isaac's development. I admit that his potential is ridiculous though.

Maybe the offense thing isn't fair.  Last year it was better.  But slow pace. Few fast breaks.  Offensive rebounding.  That's a thing

My impression was that Stackhouse was a good developer more than anything. Helped develop the Toronto bench and whatnot. Losing a lot of those guys may be why the production took a hit this year? Idk am I way off in this? Honestly not sure

This should be the last year we're in the top half of the lottery for a while unless we go full rebuild

Which good considering the lottery reform.  We were honestly probably more of a back half lotto team this year fully healthy. Still not happy about last night but it’s time to get looking at these 5-7ish guys and keep tabs on Isaac’s development through the offseason.

Yeah it was really bad. So what do we do tomorrow? We will either stay tied for 3rd or drop to 5th. Do we throw the game too if need be?

I don’t think we need to throw the game. We are bad enough. I think we might throw some funky lineups out there if things get close but I don’t think it’ll be anything close to this game

Yeah I wasn't insinuating you believed it to be that way.  But this inevitably comes up every year when there's a result we don't like.  And if there is anyone reading this who doesn't understand the process, I feel it is helpful to know up front that it isn't rigged.

For sure. Sometimes it sure feels that it is, but I have no reason to doubt it. I am so curious to see what the lotto reform does to the regular season next year.

That's why scouts like Sexton. He’s got a relentlessness and athleticism like Bledsoe had coming out.

I really love Sextons attitude. Fiery and competitive dude. I’m just curious what his great physical traits are. He is quick to the basket but he’s not a leader or anything from what I’ve watched (which isn’t much to be honest).

I like the leadership and mentality but just can’t figure out the player.

We CAN NOT, should not, must not, absolutely better not get a PG that can't shoot 3s EVER AGAIN! Allowing the defense to sag off the PG creates too much logjam in the passing lanes.

So hypothetically, if there was a player like Westbrook or John Wall in the draft and we had the chance to draft them you wouldn’t do it?

Neither of those players shoot 3s exceptionally well but have great speed and athleticism that give them an advantage.

I think Payton just scarred you haha
