I agree with Lavar on Mo, while stats may say one thing the eye test seems to say another. I will put my trust in the development plan, but to be frank I see Bamba as a role player and if he buys into that; we’ll see. I’m hopeful! I’m curious how we are going to address our offensive situation. As it stands now without any improvements we will be lucky to get out of 2nd round. We will have to cash in some chips at some point with our overlap. Who will be the causality? AG has the most value and a marketable deescalating contract plus I think JI is best at the 4. A 2 way 3 and some 3 point shooting in 1 or 2 players would really balance us out better.

That’s not the worst idea I’ve heard.

I’m for one not sold on Bamba and think if someone values him we should at least listen. He has no post game, low energy, slow reacting and a below average shot. Defense should be automatic with his size; yet it isn’t. He’s a project to even be a role player. His song is even lousy. He screams overrated for #6 drafting position, possibly injury prone. The eye test for him is very bad. He really needs to start showing something, anything real soon.

If Bamba would just bring more energy. I think better positioning with time will help and if all he offers is rim defense he can be serviceable as a back up. I’m also concerned with His durability. We can’t have all max or close to it players. He doesn’t have that edge like when skinny Kevin Garnett came into the league. He may be too passive.

Bamba dribbling should not be aloud.

Forget offensive skill, I’m looking for at minimum defense; that should be automatic; concerning.

I think Fultz is going to be what we hoped Payton would be: good D, creation, dimes and a serviceable shot.

I’m real happy with Fultz’s progression. He also hit all his free throws tonight; his shot will come around. He’s very well rounded. We have potential All Stars in him and JI.

I understand people’s frustration with Fournier, but compare his mean production to what’s available on the market also considering he is still young; many of these proposals look like lateral moves giving up youth and one of our best 3 point shooters; which we can’t afford. If we move him it better be on a level of a Beal deal assuming they don’t want the farm.

Man.... this Doncic kid is really something special! I have never seen a player with such a feel for game like this kid and he’s only a sophomore. Gotta give Cuban props for seeing that.

If your planning on moving on from Fournier anyway and can snatch a pick or asset; then maybe. Otherwise he’s 30 with a lot of miles with no 3 pt shot. I don’t think I wouldn’t give up any good young assets. We need a scorer that fits our timeline and the guy that fits that bill is DRuss; can he and Fultz coexist?

Vooch looked good last night; even on D. I don’t see Bamba taking his job anytime soon; if at all. If we can find someone that believes he has the value of his draft pick 6; I’d trade him for the right deal.

Fultz will be fine, although he needs to expand his range. DJ just had it going in the pick and roll tonight so you got to go with it.
