Anybody know if Amway is having the draft party this year?
-
Simmons can't be no worse than Ross has been starting, can he? Could just try it out early in the season for a game or two
-
Think he can work offensively at 2. Just use him how DET used Rip
-
Realization that these few weeks has confirmed for me: I don't trust Vogel. Amazes me how Speights gets no love, although more efficient than the alternative, too few plays for AG, and Ross not coming in with the second unit. When our PGs come back, move Evan to the 2 and Simmons to the 3 as a starter. Make Speights the primary 5 off the bench and give Mario's minutes to AA.

Smith and Fox had good nights. Another note: Covington has me sold. -

Great opening win!!! -
Uninspiring night.

Attention whore; that is why.
-
Definitely warming up to drafting Monk. Payton would have to become that elite defender for it to work. Evan would head the second unit.
-
Draft Smith (if Tatum doesn't fall) then trade Elf and #25 for DET's #12 and filler.
-
We better not throw any money at that guy!
-
Liking the names that I see us being linked to in that article. Would love to grab Schnelk for pres and Pat for GM. Interesting bit about Doc having a strong interest in some ownership of the team, also! Definitely would welcome it.
-
Definitely think that the draft board will look very different after the workouts. Hoping we can get a good look at Tatum, Smith, Monk, Isaac, and Fox.
-
Wanna believe that ownership and Martins knows that we have to nail this next hire or the franchise is doomed. A huge NO to Doc. Wouldn't have minded Garrity (if he had those qualifications) back in our prior GM search, but can't get behind the idea of another inexperienced GM coming in to learn the ropes.

Gems from that article. Nothing will change after Rob is fired: "It’s a new regime with the same problems, which could make it difficult to lure a quality coach to fix." "Few will question the decision of the underperforming Magic, but the manner in which the axing went down shows Orlando’s problems go well beyond their head coach."
-
The real question: Does Martins need to go too?
MaestroPenny replied to the notorious S.A.C.'s topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Yes. Don't even like him as a PR guy. Felt the Magic have lagged in that area save for the Shaq/Penny and inaugural days. -
Really anticipating the lottery and our workouts. Think (especially now with Forcier on staff) we'll make the right pick aka Tatum.
-
Man, just watched the game (girl recorded it). Great, competitive game. Awesome effort. Truly believe that this is a sign of things to come next season.

Yeahhhhhhhhgghhgghjjbhjm

All in for Tatum. He would give us many lineup options and would improve us immensely. I can see it now. He and Vuc would be the effective focal points on offense. AG, the versatile defensive specialist/clean up man/highlight reel. Elf, the penetrating distributor/defender. TRoss, the do-it-all glue. Evan, 6th man of the year candidate.
