  1. Its official, elephants are flying, the sky is falling and the fat lady has sung.
  2. Inside sources from the janitors closet at RDV are reporting that the Magic are about to make a blockbuster deal that would send the completely overated Dwight Howard to the Pacers for future Hall of Famer Travis Diener. The teaming up of Diener with Gortat would rival such legends as Magic and Kareem, Jordan and Pippen or Moses and Dr. J. In related news, the Magic will buyout the contracts of Carter, Lewis and Nelson to make room on the roster for the return of Reece Gaines, Jeryl Sasser and Brooks Thompson.

    A.J.; Tradebait or a Salary dump?(ESPN)

How is a guy making less than 2 million a salary dump?

It makes more sense for them to match Watson then it did for us to match Gortat. If they match,so be it. We lose nothing and at least we tried to get a young PG. then just move to plan B. From what we've seen from Otis, there is a Plan B and C and D.

That type of money puts any highly coveted free agent out of our grasp. Meaning 7 days isn't going to break down the entire offseason plan. Otis is out there attempting to sign a decent, young combo guard (he can play SG in short minutes) with ALL the money available. It's not like he's trying to low ball CJ or GS. What else is he supposed to do, sit back and say, we only have $1.7 million to offer CJ, why even try? Daniels signed for 1.9 million.. Yes, there's no point in offering Watson a deal when its getting matched. This is a waste of time, atleast pursue a player we can have. Taking such a hardline stance could result in eating crow if G.S. doesn't match. Do you think we are gonna lose out on signing Chris Quinn or Brevin Knight over the next 7 days? There are plenty of lower tier PG's out there if this doesn't work. Ultimate low risk/high reward move by Otis.

(not saying he is...I am all for VC and know that he is not as injury prone as people say. I just know he's in his 30s and you never know what can happen. See Kevin Garnett.) That scares me more than havin AJ backup Jameer. I'm sure if VC went down then Pietrus would start at SG.
  8. Gortat's new entrance music: Metallica's "Enter Sandman"

Just in case you were wondering when the precise moment I lost all respect for you was. Sad face. I was trying to use the fancy lingo all the kids use nowadays. I actually typed it out properly at first - "All of your bases now belong to us!" and then went wait... that can't be right. I will now go pray to as many Jesi as possible so as to regain your favor. 7 or 8 might be enough to get it done. I find it pretty funny that you started to write it correctly. You're back in my good graces. Just next time remember to include the part where Marc Cuban comes out at the Magic press conference to introduce Gortat as a new addition to the Mavs, and Cuban and Dirk taunt the Magic right before Dwight sneaks in and lays out Dirk with a chair while Gortat rips off his Mavs shirt to reveal a Magic jersey underneath. Then Gortat chokeslams Cuban through a table. Cue "Good God Almighty...." Then J.J. comes thru the crowd puts the figure four on Dirk til he taps out and hops up to exclaim "Woooooooooo" and " to be the best you have to beat the best".

    Who is Moldy Hobo???

Moldy Hobo rulez because he is willing to answer all doubters and fire back at them instead of just sitting on past laurels.

    Who is Moldy Hobo???

Moldy is Dave Twardzik. He would be the only Magic employee without anything to do now that he isn't co-GM anymore.

    ESPN news debate

Who the heck is Freddie Coleman anyways. He has less credibility than Chad Ford, Steve Kyler or Brian Schmitz. Since the playoffs began, the only commentator or expert that has been halfway knowledgeable about the players or style of play is Charles Barkley and that is sad.
