Hollinger: Lebron to Miami, Chris Paul maybe to Orlando, Regardless Orlando #1

I'm watching the LeBron thing, and lets see how I can put this in a way that shouldn't get me in trouble.......Chris Broussard is treating LeBron's genitalia like a doctors office lollipop. -

What about Joe Johnson? Yeah he had a poor playoffs. But he had to try and carry a franchise. In a magic jersey he wouldn't. Wildcard: Redd, if he could prove to be healthy could be a trade that would come in handy. Has the best shot in the league. I like Joe Johnson as well. Is there any way we could pull it off?

Official Gamethread: Magic @ Celtics ECF GM 6 5/28 8:30pm
DuvalMagicFan replied to Ryan the Magic Fan's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I've been a Magic fan since I was four years old. 17 years later, I'm still praying for a championship. I'm seriously near tears right now.... -
I don't know what I think will happen in game six. each game, one, two, and three, i thought were guaranteed wins for us, each one more so than the previous. I thought, what was the likelihood of us losing three games in a row? Well, that speaks for itself. Then games four and five, I had the sneaky suspicion, almost gut feeling, that we'd lose. I thought, "us Magic fans just don't have the kind of luck for them to pull it off." Those also speak for themselves. Now here we are, on the brink of elimination. But also on the brink of the NBA Finals, and doing something no other NBA team has ever done. You would think sooner or later we would be able to have the stars align to start adding championships to the great young history the Magic have. And again, I have the sneaky suspicion, almost gut feeling, that game six will be the end of the road. I just hope I'm wrong. Again.

This does give me hope though. Like it was a foretelling of the potential destiny of this team.

I agree. especially about Dwight. I mentioned to a friend the other day that this series has been good for Dwight. He seems all business lately. Not as much smiling and laughing as pure domination. We've been waiting for Clark Kent to become the Man of Steel.

The Official Celtic Injuries Thread

Dwight's elbows deserve a thread all their own. They are the most dangerous in the league. The list of casualties.....Samuel Dalembert, Courtney Lee, LeBron James, Glen Davis.....the only question remaining is..... WHO'S NEXT?!?!?!?!?!? -

Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports: Magic provide only a tease in East finals

I'm sorry but I have to agree with VC_Fan. Before game 4, Vince was averaging 19 ppg for the series. Rashard has been playing good defense on Garnett, true. But he's brought nothing to the table offensively. Barnes showed up in game 4. But Air France has been M.I.A. all series. -

I watched the game with a couple of friends, one a Rockets fan, the other a Spurs fan. They noticed the clock error before I did. And the fact that announcers usually say something about it and didn't this time does make me wonder...... -
The Boston Celtics are 32-0 all time when winning the first 2 games of a best of 7 series. They were also 32-0 at home in game 7's. Then the Magic came to town. The prognosis certainly doesn't look good. ESPN is talking solely about the Celtics, and although it gets tiresome, deservedly so. But as Paul Pierce runs his mouth, overly ****y, let us remember the words of our Superman: "Pride comes before the fall." I still think we've got a great shot at winning this series. This series is far from over, fellow Magic Fans.
