    Playoff Bracket Challenge

I've got 110 right now, and if ATL wins, I'll have 120...So I can't complain.

Now he doesn't try it seems..He may be 7' tall, but his lack of athleticism and strength are 100% obvious now.

    Cavs vs Celtics

I like being more battle tested, and I think it helped us last year having a decent series with the Sixers and a great series with the Celtics, while the Cavs played WNBA teams. Now we're the ones playing the easy series and they're being battle tested. I don't like that, maybe it's just me. Never said Z was good...I was comparing their backup PF, C, and Guard to ours...There is no comparison..And against a team like the Celtics, Z plays great. Perkins can't score, and has no post game. So Z's lack of defense wouldn't be exploited. Spreading the floor for LBJ to do what he wants on the inside. Again, yes, Z does suck, but against the Celtics, he can be more than successful. Not to mention the small lineup that the Cavs can run against them.

    Lebron James

What Paul Pierce did is the ultimate b**ch move, IMO... Goes of the court on a wheel chair after being packed around by his teammates, only to storm on to the court a few minutes after and hit several shots...That is the ultimate overreaction of an injury... It's almost impossible to make shots when you can't feel your arm. I don't know if he sold it more than he should have or whatever, but comparing him to Paul Pierce is like comparing the Yankees to the Texas Rangers.

    Cavs vs Bulls

How are the refs unfair in this one?? The refs are unfair because Cleveland lives in the paint, but shoots a normal # of free throws. The refs are also unfair because LeBron gets fouls called by driving to the hole. And the refs are again unfair because they're not letting the Bulls mug the Cavs. To some people on here, a normal foul is a ticky-tack foul, and a flagrant foul is a normal foul....So every foul is a ticky-tack foul. I have probably watched 4 minutes of actual game time, but Brad Miller's 4 & 5 foul along with Noah's 4th were one of the worst calls ever. I'm not going to say the Cavs don't get favorable calls. I've said all year that they do. But every time a foul is called doesn't mean the refs messed it up. Thuglife is butt-hurt, and has the biggest Cav crush in history.

I'm more welcome here than you are. But yes, any time you win a playoff series against a hungry team, that's a good win. Sorry for your disappointment.

    How was...

Yea, he's defeinitely useless...I guess just another body to use in certain situations...He's still got a decent jumper, but that's it..No defense, no rebounding...

    How was...

Shaq has won MVP, 4 rings, and is considered by many as the most dominant player to ever play the game..... Age does that to people.

    Vince Carter's Contract

    Flagrant Fouls

quote: Originally posted by Live or Die Magic:It must be hard for Dwight to not be able to flop. If he were to do it, he would get the favorable calls. Which would keep his defenders more honest on the other end. But of course, he would then be labeled as a flopper and let's face it, dominant big men should NOT be flopping! He's dammed if he does, dammed if he doesn't. Also, remember Stephen Jackson's push on Dwight as Dwight was dunking? Joey Crawford saw it and called it (wonder of wonders!). But really, intentionally pushing a player who is in the air? That's a flagrant! Any smaller player dunking in that situation and they might have gotten the call, but with Dwight's size, he barely noticed the push and certainly wasn't affected by it. Same thing in football...They protect smaller guys like they protect QBs.....Obviously the situations aren't comparable, but what is a flagrant on a smaller player should still be a flagrant on a larger player.

    ESPN Insider help..

If any of you guys have Insider, I would appreciate it if you could get the Titans draft grade, and perhaps paste it on here. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, and if this is out of line, lock or remove.

How is it that this guys Westbrook, Green and Harden and Ibaka are so good? Is this the "hustlest" team in NBA history? I have never seen all players running the floor, jumping, blocking and dunking like these animals. Why do the Lakers slack off so bad in the Western rounds? Are they capable of turning this thing around? They really look shaky and confused out there. Silly fouls, horrible FT shooting, Kobe not involved. Westbrook is a more athletic J Kidd in his prime. He's easily one of the best PGs in the league, and in a few years, I think he'll be better than CP3.

    WOW, OKC Crowd is amazing

quote: Originally posted by ManuGinobili: quote: I watched games 1 and 2 of the Orlando/Charlotte series, and I gotta say, that crowd is terrible as far as making noise and being heard. I honestly could not even tell they were there. Every basket brought on cheers and claps and as soon as the other team inbounded the ball, they were silent. I watched the same games. Dont know if it was me, but we sounded pretty much louder than Mavs, Cavs or Bulls. Maybe it's the bias in both of us, cause I feel the same way. I always feel as though the Q is rockin, but it may not always be...I just know that our announcer is awesome, and he gets the crowd fired up.
