  1. And yes, the SEC is still weak, just like the Big East is still strong. Kentucky got lucky and UF has had an incredibly easy road.

I'm sorry but thats complete bull...that was Kentucky's best game of the year. If there is a game that someone can look at and say that was a perfect game, Kentucky played it. They out rebounded OSU...they held a team that normally shoots 45-50% from the field to 32%. That isn't luck. Don't be a douche and throw it up to luck because we hit a game-winning shot. That was by far the best game of the tournament, back and forth the entire time. No way was it lucky. But I do agree, FL did have an incredibly easy road to the elite 8. Hopefully Butler wins again.

The SEC is weaker, but I think KY and FL can hang with any team in the country. As a whole though, the SEC isn't even close to the Big East.

  2. Hey guys, I was watching something the other day. Pretty sure it was the Magic Lakers game, but I'm not sure. So if someone else knows where I heard this, let me know.

Anyways, I heard someone say that they thought the League was protecting their future all-star players like Blake Griffin, who has drawn a league leading 9 flagrant fouls or something like that. The reason this was brought up was because of Dwight not getting fouls that should be flagrant fouls, but end up not even being normal fouls.

I think the league has sort of put a protective watch over their big name players. I don't know who is second or third on that list of players that have drawn the most flagrants. But I know it isn't Dwight.

D12 gets more abuse than any other player in the history of the NBA other than Shaq in my opinion. It's just ridiculous, just because he can take the hit doesnt mean that the hit isn't a foul. Anyone else care to weigh in on this situation?

On a completely separate note: anyone see 5 good minutes yesterday and see Dwight say that Blakes winning dunk (over the car) wasn't as good as the guy from France (which was sick by the way) and that it made him want to get back in the dunk contest? haha

  3. Florida doesn't deserve to be a #2 seed and Kentucky sure as hell doesn't deserve to be a #4 seed in the same bracket with the overall #1 which means that KY's #4 is the lowest #4.

It's just plain stupid, KY has an RPI of 9 and SoS of 12. Wins over FL (twice), Vandy, Washington, Notre Dame, Louisville (on the road), and their only non-conference losses were to UConn and UNC (both on the road) - they finished the season on a 6 game winning streak and played the best basketball theyve been playing all year in the last 6 games.

Now that my little rant is over.

Pitt by far has the easiest road to the Elite 8 and Final Four in my opinion. Piece of cake road. I would've said that Duke had a tough road, but then I saw that UConn was in Duke's bracket. No way Duke makes it out of that section.

  4. Funny, now that it seems like we aren't going to get Murphy, people are acting all Joe Cool like he wasn't important at all or they go on the complete other side of the spectrum and freak out that he'll sign with Miami (where he won't be effective behind Bosh, Big Z, and Dampier) or Boston (where he will be the replacement for Perkins - which isn't that concerning).

Let's all just take a chill pill and let our new look team continue to gel - Arenas has been playing really well these past couple of games and I still really enjoy having Bass/Anderson/Earl all hustling really hard. It makes me a :happypuppy:

  5. Anyone know where I can get a full list of who got traded before the deadline?

I know of a couple - Nazr/Perkins/Nate to the Thunder; Hinrich to the Hawks; Mo Williams to the Clippers

But I'd like to see a full list of who got traded where

Anyone got a link or know all of the trades?

  6. Its a game you can put 8 hours straight into without realizing it. I haven't played in a while though. I liked it at first. Definitely something everyone should check out.

Yea from youtube videos that I've watched about it, the guy said you can get tired of it after a while, but then the fun thing about it is you just start a new world and its like everything is brand new and the excitement for the game kicks back in.

I had a creeper spawn inside my home last night and blew me up, so I lost all of my resources and everything that I had in those storage chests. I got so mad cause I had some rare objects, so I just deleted that world and started over haha

  7. i downloaded the beta. Built a gigantic cave network in a mountain. Exploding zombie guys suck.

The Creepers? Or as the guy that introduced me to this game calls them, exploding penis' haha

Yes, they do suck. What do you think of the game? Different than most, but I think its fun so far.

  8. Anyone play this game? I just got it Saturday and its pretty addicting. If you can't play games without objectives or if you have no creativity at all, then you'll hate this game. But if you like creating stuff and just having fun, you'll probably enjoy this game.

If you do play, whats the coolest thing you've made on there??

  9. That knockout Silva put on Belfort was one of the best knockouts I have ever seen. Even though I don't like Anderson Silva, but that was amazing.

The Franklin vs Griffin fight was epic. Two great fight styles matched up against each other, but I was glad to see Griffin win.

That was a great card. Can't believe Jon Jones is fighting Shogun in less than a month! Thats nuts!!

  10. I like the way Earl has been playing lately. I hope the Magic resign him. If he can come in and score points and grab a couple of rebounds, we will be really stacked at the 4 position. Hopefully, things work out, I think Clark along with the rest of the team will start to find its groove here in the next couple of weeks

  11. Sophomores are much more complete. Other than Griffin and Wall, rookies don't have any other high-caliber guys against Evans, Curry, Jennings, Matthews, Ibaka, Holiday, DeRozan.

Every single guy in the sophomores is a good NBA player. Just Griffin and Wall for the rookies.

Lets not forget Demarcus Cousins on this little team. Who has been putting up very solid numbers in the past couple of weeks.

I don't know. I know those guys are solid, but I don't think any of them can stop the combination of Wall, Griffin, and Cousins.

Also, Jennings won't play. If he pulled out of the dunk contest, then he'll pull out of this as well.
