I don't think its just a repeat user. He just doesn't know how to take criticism without getting extremely defensive and typing in all caps and putting a * when he is trying to cooly type a cuss word.

Dwight Has His Contract Extension On The Table!

+1 Homeboy is really defensive. Lets all take a chill pill.

I'd probably consider that too, but only if we could dump Turk and include receiving Outlaw.

    Let the Blame Begin

You're very defensive about a lot of things on here. Its just an internet forum. Chill out.

You don't trade Dwight. Period. Unless you're getting Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, or Dwayne Wade along with tons of other talent with those guys. Please stop.

    Fran would be fine

Because the 4 is primarily away from the paint and Dwight's strength is in the paint. So it isn't logical to take him away from that position.

I don't think he is a numbers guy either, but Dwight is one of the top 5 players in the NBA right now. Why wouldn't you feed his strengths and make him your main guy when you run the offense? D12's strength is strong post moves and power dunks. Putting him at a 4 that is typically set outside of the paint doesn't really make sense to me. But maybe that is just me.

Yea, I think it would be interesting to see those two on the same team. Also, it would be the #1 and #2 draft picks from the year that Dwight was drafted. Not sure if there has been a lot of players who have gone 1-2 in a draft and then eventually end up on the same team.

    Fran would be fine

This is a petty idea, but pulling Dwight away from rim on the defensive end will hurt his overall numbers and maybe his confidence. Also, just the way Dwight plays on the offensive end he would still play like a center even though he is labeled at the PF spot. I just don't think you take the 3-time defensive player of the year and MVP contender away from his natural position. This is Dwight's team, why make him change?

Blockbuster trade! http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3wcb5j8 *I know this isn't realistic, I'm in class and this is entertaining at the moment.

But I don't know if Dwight can handle the Dirks, Pau, ZBo's of the NBA...I'd feel more comfortable with Okafor there

I was thinking the same thing, but what would we have to offer the Hornets in return for Paul, Ariza, and Okafor? Jameer, JRich, Bass, Hedo, cash, picks? http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6jpwerv or make it a 3 team blockbuster http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3je6v7a

Could be the end for a lot of guys

If the Magic continue to go strong after Paul, what if the Magic try and have Okafor thrown in that mix? I realize he has a bad contract, but that could be a potential deadly duo. Or if the Magic go after a player like Prince or Rip Hamilton, see if the Magic can throw in a player like Greg Monroe who even though he is a rookie, is a really solid player and could give us that young core that we want to see so bad. Of course all of this relies upon the new CBA and instead of seeing an All-Star team formed like the Heat or Knicks. I'd love to see a "TEAM" formed like Skywise suggested. A team like the Thunder or the Celtics or the Pistons from the Billups, Wallaces, Prince, Hamilton days...those are the types of teams that win championships and with Dwight as our center piece of that team, it needs to be a defensive minded, collectively aggressive team that shows no fear - like the Grizzlies are right now.

I can imagine Yao playing next to Dwight..........for all of 5 games until he got hurt again

Jameer..."See ya in the 2nd round, Derrick"

    Oh. snap.

    Size matters in NBA

I don't know about that. I was thinking of it a couple of weeks ago and outside of the legit point guards (Rondo, Paul, Williams, Rose, and I'll even through in Nash and Kidd) who in the league would not consider Jameer, right now, as an immediate improvement to their point guard situation? Jameer may not be the best PG in the league or the type of PG that the Magic want, but he is still better than the majority of the league. I think he is a tradable asset. I think that packaged with the right players, the Magic could trade for a Paul or Deron. The only question is who would those other trade pieces be? Also don't forget, with the new CBA, the Magic could possibly cut a current player which could tremendously help with cap space if it were Hedo or Arenas. But we won't be able to figure that out till after all of the CBA stuff is figured out. I also think you can trade just about anyone (we did get rid of Lewis' awful contract), its just a matter of finding a team with a want and throwing in a player along with that deal - in the case of Duhon.

    Size matters in NBA

The question is, other than Paul and Williams, what other point guards would the Magic have their eyes on as an improvement? I've always liked Devon Harris because he is incredibly quick and tall for a PG. I'll be honest and say I haven't watched him play in about 2 years (since he was with the Mavs) and so I'm not sure if he has lost a step or what. Personally, I'd love to see the Magic try and do anything and everything to get John Wall, you've see Wall turn McGee into a recognizable name. Imagine him along side D12. He's only gonna get better. I realize he's got a lot of things to work on, but this kid is going to be one of the best PG of all time by the time he retires. Unless, God forbid, injury hurts him. However, for this season and at this period in time. I'd rather see the Magic get Paul/Ariza or Williams/Outlaw and then trade for a improvement at PF. Then sign a back up big for the Vet min. Maybe Nazr?

True. So maybe we could mix D'Antoni and Thibodeau and have the perfect coach!!!

Could be the end for a lot of guys

But if our team averages 140ppg, we really don't need defense. At least that is the D'Antoni system
