Anybody think that The Magic should trade for Asik and move Vucevic to the 4 spot? I think that Vucevic would be a great Forward

Orlando's Best Fit at the Top of the 2014 Draft?
BigPoppaV replied to Jagsfreak27's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Wow. Those stats are very impressive. Oladipo can easily be a top 5 PG in the league in 3 years. -
The Bobcats are considering using their amnesty on Tyrus Thomas. I think he might be a nice PF to play next to Vucevic. Anybody agree?
-
Here is another video of him working out in Indiana. This kid has skills.

The Official J.J. Redick Appreciation Thread
BigPoppaV replied to Skywise316's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
A true competitor. He has built himself into an amazing talent. He will be missed. -
Given that Detroit has 2 decent Bigs (Drummond and Monroe). Would either of these guys be a good fit on the Magic moving Vooch to the PF?

ESPN: Magic are big winners in Howard Trade
BigPoppaV replied to ShefGator2's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Not a bad list of guys to compare to..... -
I know it is early in the season but with no true All-Star on this team they are fearless and play so well as a team. Playing this well as a team gives them a great chance to win every night. JJ is playing so well and I think if he continues to play like he has the first two games he will be the 6th man of the year.
-
Classy move by Q. He will be brought in by another team.
-
We have to see what Harkless looks like. DaQuan has been getting playing time to see if he will be on the roster and I think he has earned that spot. Hedo might be playing soon.
-
The 20 minutes that we saw the starters on the court together looked very good. I like the constant movement without the basketball from everyone. There were multiple shots under the basket uncontested due to their fluid movement. I do think that Afflalo will start as the 2 and Reddick will be the 6th man. It already looks like Coach Vaughn is already running plays for him like they run for Ginobli in San Antonio.

This kid is 6'8" with a 7' wingspan.

Take a look at this video that I found on Youtube. He looks good.

Everyone is saying that the trade was not good. Hennigan just set the Magic up for an AMAZING 2014 summer. Along with the 6 players that were received in the trade he also got 3 first round draft picks 2 second round picks and a 17.8 million dollar trade exception. The magic will be around 30 million under the cap in 2014. The real fans will support the rebuilding process.....

Al Harrington 2012-13 $6,687,400 2013-14 $3,574,300*-Amount guaranteed this year 2014-15 $3,804,900*-Amount guaranteed this year Afflalo will be the 2 guard they will build around. He is very solid on the defensive end and has worked himself into an offensive threat

You might be able to make a deal for kevin love now by using some expiring contracts. Love is not a happy camper and has made that known.
-
What is being overlooked is that in 2014 the Magic will be able to offer 2 max contracts if they choose to.
-
They are cleaning house. The players that Otis brought in were not worth the paper that their contracts were written on. This is what is under contract over the next couple of years..... Actually Afflalo is a good defender. He likes to play defense.

Besides Vucevic and Harkless are both 1st round draft picks. Harkless was 15th pick this year Vucevic was 16th pick last year
