    The Dwight Howard Drama Unfolds

You guys will love Super Mario Williams. He had to play out of his position last year, LB, so he had a kind of quiet year. But he's a beast at DE

I really wish you guys would trade him t some NBA dump like CHA or WAS. That would be hilarious.

Play out the year. If he walks, let him leave by losing $30M. Dont give in to what he wants.

Haha I really wanted Dwight but after the recent events, screw this guy! God I hope we sign Lamb and don't trade Donatas. I don't even want Bynum, unless its for chump change, just because I don't want Houston to help Dwight get to where he wants to go. Dont try calling now, Henny! I'd give him nothing but low ball offers from this point. Could have had all this done at the draft but noooo, you had to drag it out. Now let's see what you get in return for Dwight.

Well, it's been real! Lol. Nice talking to you guys. Looks like no trade going down, for now.

That is the most fair for both teams. It doesn't completely gut us so that we will have some nice pieces to put around Howard/Lin for the season. And if Dwight bolts, at least they didn't give up all their young studs. More importantly, we don't help out the Lakers!

Sorry man, but in no way can you compare the Heat situation to this. Regardless of what could have happened to Wade, he stayed and Lebron and Bosh joined him. If that's a gamble, that's going all in with a Royal Flush in Texas hold em. As for Vlade trade, I'm sure CHA wishes they would have that one back just a bit. And I don't see Dwight & Lin getting past OKC or the LAL either. At least not with the current team after a trade goes down that takes out most of our good players. I don't think it's stupid at all. I think it's stupid to sell the farm for a player that might leave after one year. And we are no stranger to that (Beltran, Randy Johnson). Why even consider it? Why the F not? If you have a chance to get a franchise player, you see what type of deal you can get depending on the circumstances. Doesn't hurt to try. I'm not saying Houston has any leverage here and I'd welcome Dwight regardless of who goes, but Rockets are preceding with caution. We ain't the Knicks...

Just wanted to say, I agree that you need to give up good players to get good players. So I don't necessarily agree with the ridiculous trade proposals by certain rockets fans here. BUT, you have to understand, without assurance from Dwight that he will resign, it's hard to do a "good players for good players" trade. Dwight can leave town after one year and we'd be flush out of 1st rounders and the quality young players that ORL took. For a Dwight rental, I'd be willing to give up anyone but Donatas, White, or Lamb. So Parsons, Jones, PPat, Morris, Martin, the TOR/DAL 1st rounders and CHA 2nd Round Pick. Basically any combo besides the three I listed. If Dwight was willing to stay, you could have any combination you want, plus whatever picks.
