My prediction: We'll find a way to ***** this up. -
Magic Going All In For Chris Paul's Backup?

Sorry, dude, but it's Tyshawn or BUST for us. I'm just a realist....... -

Man, you know we suck when we get excited over MAYBE getting Brandan Wright. -

Other than Tyshawn Taylor, this list is unimpressive. -
how long are you willing to put up with being bad?
Dwight Shrute replied to God Hates Otis Smith's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I thought we matched up much better against the Lakers then we did against the Celts. Boston w/o KG did help drastically......no one can deny that. It appeared that we were not prepared for the Lakers as, yes, Hedo did great defending Kobe, but it appeared we had no answer for defending Gasol. That dude torched us. We knew Kobe would chuck all game long, but damn, you would think with D12, we could have played better D on Gasol. -

2009 Finals - Shard's stats Game 1 - 8 pts - 20% Game 2 - 34 pts - 57% Game 3 - 21 pts - 57% Game 4 - 6 pts - 20% Game 5 - 18 pts - 32% When we needed Shard the most.........this is what we got. Two games that he earned his check, but three where he completely **** the bed. Max contract-wise.......HORRIBLE signing. -

It could be just me, but finishing dead last in the NBA is a hell of a lot easier to swallow than losing in the Finals. Face it, our 2009 run was very fluky......we got hot in the playoffs and knocked off the 2 powerhouses in succession (BOS and CLE). Yet, in the Finals we fell flat on our faces to a team that both BOS and CLE would have been favored to beat. I take that 2009 run with a huge grain of salt. -

My point all along is Shard was never worth max money. NEVER!!!! His defense has always been below average. Dude had one good season (like his seasons in Seattle) left......MAYBE two. That was obvious then and it played out just as so many forecasted. Pretty much, the guy was a 3-point specialist by that time in his career. He was good but not great. And, you don't pay good players max contracts. And, until now, I never mentioned his steroid usage. -

Rashard is only worth it had we actually won. -

Otis did not draft Dwight or Jameer. Otis did not sign Hedo. Otis DID sign Lewis which was a huge lapse of judgment on his and the FO's part. I'm sorry, but folks in FOs get paid buku dollars to make logically sound and monetarily smart decisions ESPECIALLY when dealing with max contract signings. I said it then and I'll say it now.......Rashard was never worthy of a max contract. He was made to look much better due to being on perenially piss poor Sonic teams. Rashard Lewis was our Michael Redd. Gilbert Arenas was just another one of his Golden State man-crushes that we are still paying Michael Jordan money to. But, I think we'd still be paying Rashard had that trade not been made. -
I'm willing to bet he was wearing khakis and a polo under his warm-up suit.

And, y'all call me a bandwagon fan......LOL......at least admit I don't hold a candle to 'Miami-Heat-bandwagon-fan-ism'. Look at how they don't support the Marlins (the same team that won 2 rings in a 8 yr period). Look at that travesty in game 6........they are the worst fans EASILY in the US. I pray that LBJ leaves their asses first chance. They don't deserve him.

The Magic will always be the only team I care about in the NBA. However, as people here know, I refuse to support 'suck'. And that's what the Magic were last year and most likely will be this year. Think about it......this is the same organization that is STILL paying Arenas an 'LBJ-like' salary. How pathetic is that? Until we finally get rid of the clown from the books, I have no interest in really supporting this team. Our FO has got to be the WORST ran of any franchise in the modern area (since we joined in 89). Granted, Henny may right the ship as nothing can be worse than Otis and his regime here. But, we the fans, are the ones who have to take it the worst. And, that fundamentally unfair. So, until they put something competitive on the floor, count me out. I don't buy CRAP products and neither should anyone else here. Currently speaking: Oklahoma City Thunder = Echo/Stihl Weedeater Orlando Magic = Ryobi/Troybilt Weedeater -
Would the Lakers Trade Rosters with the Magic?
Dwight Shrute replied to Soul Bro's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Look, I sure hope we all have learned over these recent years that Lebron is actually not the toolbag he made himself out to be with the whole 'televised leaving Cleveland for Miami debacle'. He has proven that he is a true, bonafide superstar who can lead a team (like Jordan) to success. Who here doesn't believe he can win a 'ship this year w/o DWade? Lebron's game has evolved so much since the debacle that I believe wherever he goes he will continue to win trophies. I see him winning at least 5-7 before all is said and done. With that said, Dwight Howard couldn't even hold LBJ's sweaty ass jocky strap. In 09, I cannot WITH A SERIOUS FACE say that D12 'led' us to the Fiinals that year unlike, we all can agree, the way LBJ did in 07 with Cleveland. Howard, while immensely talented, is no leader. Furthermore, his offensive game is too damn suspect to ever lead a team on his own. Yeah, his D is phenomenal, his O is not (by a long shot). Intangible-wise, the guy is completely lacking. He has proven time and time again to be a headcase. So, the only way I see D-bag Howard winning a 'ship is when he is like 40 and is on the bench of a star-laden team (<cough> KMalone <cough>). My $0.02. -

We've had way too much luck in the lottery. No way in hell do we get the #1 selection AGAIN........ I sure hope so..... Who would be best for the Magic if we picked first overall? Can we draft Wiggins' rights(Boston Celtic-Larry Bird style)? -

C'mon now. It's no big deal. I never mind being the guy with a target on his back.....LOL. I just get pissed when people think I am not a Magic fan because I think they suck, and because I have no qualms with going on the organization's website stating just that. Idiots think by my disgust for this organization's decisions over the past 20 yrs, I should pick a new team. And, that is just nothing more than a narrow-minded response. BTW, aside from the Magic being the nearest NBA team to Tampa, my family knew Jeff Turner very well. I went to the same junior high as he did. I rooted for him when he played alongside Catledge, Shaq, Penny, THEGUYWHOMISSED4FREETHROWSINAROWINTHENBAFINALS and, hell, even you......LOL. He was a great role player. -

Or, I am just putting it out there that I am tired of a team, that I have rooted for since their first year of existance, making idiotic decisions consistently. -

You could have saved yourself a whole lotta typing had you just said "this guy is not a sheep like the majority of the fanboys here, who are engaged in a seemingly never-ending circle-jerk, who think REAL fans must continue to drop benjis to watch a dleague team play in a NBA arena." Then again, you seem serious when correlating my disgust for this organization's ineptitude (2 decades and counting) to wanting to execute anyone who steals a Snickers bar. So, you may want to question your own reason and rationale before questioning mine.
