We've heard a lot that SVG really wants JJ to stay, Otis will do all he can to resign him... Has anyone thought that maybe their goal is to sway teams from thinking about going after him, because they want to keep him, but really aren't willing to pay him too much?

I think the more playing time he gets, the better he performs. A lot of people say that he serves as a great bench player. This is true when he gets up to a starters quantity of minutes off the bench consistently. Anything less, I think it's hard for him to get a rhythm. It'd be way too much of a gamble to purposefully delegate him as a starter next year. If we can get someone else, go for it for sure, but it may not end up that bad. Maybe he'll surprise us even more another season.
