Since the Magic wont contend - route against Houston and hope the Dwightmare continues - some nagging , recurring Dwight injuries would be good, some in Fighting between Dwight and Harden, McHale taking Dwight out late to protect against turnovers and poor free throw shooting! just drama and chaos and mediocrity for Dwight and Houston - nothing against Houston - just hate the whiner. Would love to see many teams hack Howard late and he shoot free throws under 40 percent - would just love to see Dwight hate on Houston and have it come back to him I'll watch the Magic games - I agree would be nice to get a good draft pick, but I will route for them to win and not be upset if they lose - I like oladipo, harkless, Harris, vucevic as some players to build with - I'm real curious how Harkless will develop and oladipo as they are incredible athletes. So many people see a big future for Harris - I hope they are right - harkless and oladipo look most interesting to me and vucevic might be good - team should be better than last year, but stii young so we could be in the bottom 5 or 8

I'm still wishing a Grant Hill career on Dwight Howard - I hope his back creates problems his entire career - I know that is wrong, but I'm ok with it. He was bashing Houston last year and Houston was afraid he wouldn't stay if they signed him - if they get him now they'll at least have him locked in until they have to trade him for his constant complaining, etc. He wanted to go to the Lakers since he couldn't go to the Nets and he got what he wanted and then he cried because he was a loser again and Kobe wasn't always nice to him. Dwight is nearly as despised as Brian Hill - another person who never took responsibility for his part in anything. I like Houston and don't really wish the worst for them, but if they get Howard I wish the worst for Howard and hope Houston fails. I would love to see Orlando get a championship before Howard and hopefully Howard never gets one. And, I hope someone dedicates the trophy to Howard and thank him for leaving as it probably wouldn't have been possible had the bum stayed. Howard Sucks!

My favorite memory of the season - Dwight Howard saga and a 4-0 sweep by San Antonio with Howard being ejected in game 4. I love that they were a 7 seed and that they were totally routed in the playoffs and Kobe may not be ready next year then there and Steve Nash getting older - I love that the Lakers are getting the Dwight negativity cloud. I am also hoping that the Lakers start a decade of sucking with Dwight leading the way and leading with turnovers and lack of jump shot, and injuries, etc. Dwight sucks and I'm glad he got swept - I hope that the Lakers fans crucify him. I wish a Grant Hill career for him or worse. What could top it is if Brian Hill was picked up as the Lakers head coach with Dwight so that they could blame each other for sucking.

I can't read through this whole thread for the information I am looking for. How does the McRoberts trade effect the trade exception? I didn't get a clear answer on what I read. What trade exceptions do the Magic have? I thought they had one good until Aug 2013 for over $17 million - is that somehow extended or did we get a second one or did that one change? Anyone in the know want to explain? I guess that would explain the McRoberts for Warrick trade right? Any other reason to do it if no trade exception involved?

I'm all for the Magic never getting a first round pick if it means Howard doesn't make the playoffs for the next 5 years - how sweet would that be to hear him cry - with nagging injuries - I'd give up more than the late first round pick we could get from them - hell, I'd send Hedo to LA for nothing. And,I would even try to recruit Brian Hill to be their new head coach in LA.

Only thing that could be better is if this held till the end of the season with the Magic in the top three and the Lakers in the bottom three. I just loved printing this out as it won't last,but I love seeing the Magic undefeated with 2 wins and the Lakers with only 1 win in 4 games - I wish the Lakers were 0-4. I still wish the worst for Howard - I hope every thing goes horribly wrong for him and the Lakers - I hope his back makes him mediocre and I hope his free throw shooting plummets to the worst of his career by far and I wish him high turnovers - even more than in Orlando so that the fans turn on him - he deserves it. A little animosity toward Howard? I guess you could say that (I almost didn't even mention Brian Hill) - I'm over Brian as long as he never comes back to Orlando. Even though this degree of success will be short lived - it is nice to see the GM moving this team in the right direction - I like the talented athletic new guys. So far Vaughn looks good as well. I was going to say you're right that the first year Nash and Kobe could get injured and Dwight flail out there by himself and the Lakers do nothing, but that would mean he would still sign that big contract. I don't want him getting the contract - so I'm sticking to a career or serious injury affecting his ability to get a big contract and him losing all his endorsement dollars and all his kids getting whatever money he has left. He can go F himself. The home game against LA - I think it would be great if no fans showed up at all.

I too am insane then - I so hope he gets a career ending injury before he signs a new contract and I hope he goes broke and jail time for not paying child support works too - with them finding money for his kids and worse
