Than we trade with Houston strait up NBD.

I like either the deal with Houston or three team with the Lakers. I personally am not high on Bynum I just don't trust that mans knees and I don't want another grant Hill. I mean every time he runs up the court it looks like his knee is about to buckle. I like Houston's picks and some of their young guys, Parsons and Lamb. If this draft is any indication (O'Quinn at 49), Good Job Rob is as advertised with finding talent in the draft. I feel like us Magic fans don't value the draft enough because were so used to butchering the picks we do have. It's a new regime guys we can own drafts now, thus making Houston very enticing.

I would have to disagree. I think Jeremy Lamb can become elite and as can Chandler Parsons. The picks become a hit or a miss but if taking kyle O'quinn at 49 is any indication, Henny will make most of picks. I personally don't trust bynums knees, that's just my opinion though. I think Houston gives us best chance at a quick rebuild and is for sure a step in the right direction from the nets deal.

Exactly. If we could steal parsons from houston and two of either Lamb, Jones and White plus martins expiring contracts, that kills the Nets deal. Either way were losing in this trade but this makes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more since than the nets deal.

Yea I to would find it hard to believe that if it actually came down to Henny saying we want parsons or no deal that the rockets would actually walk away but that's just what I've heard. Lame, White and Parsons plus the picks once again trumps anything the nets are offering. Obviously we would have to take K-mart too.

Exactly and Houston has him for nothing because he was a second rounder. I still like Lamb a lot and white or ross. Plus that's a nice expiring contract that martin has and the lottery pick from toronto is icing on the cake making it way better than anything nets have offered.

I don't think Houston would take on all those contracts. Probably just one but we would still get probably our pick of two of their three rookies (lamb, white, jones) and K-mart and another player maybe parsons but my friend is close with him and parsons has been told that he is their one "no trade" player.

Houston is looking more and more appealing. The lottery protected pick alone is worth more than anything the nets have offered us.

Please dear god take the Houston deal. Makes more since for us on nearly every level as far as I can tell. Am i missing something?

Ok I'm done defending Brook Lopez he obviously isn't near my first choice for Dwight just saying people make him seem like Kwame Brown which he's not.

Come on man his second season averaged 18.8 and last year 19.2. Pretty close. Dwight didn't average over 18 unitl his fourth year in the NBA. Just saying Lopez can score. You guys keep bashing him because obviously it's not equal value for Dwight but the kid CAN play. Needs to learn how to rebound and play defense but the offense is there.

Yes I would say that is the case here. Were in full tank mode here but if it takes being horrible for one year to build a legit title contender in 3 I can live with it.
