I'm with you on Smart. I didn't like him last year, and got throttled on this forum for doing so now it seems most people don't like him. I feel safe in saying that if we make any type of deal, it will be a clear win. Whether its trading up, trading down, trading AA, whatever the case may be I feel that we have a competent enough of a GM to feel good about any deal we make. I personally would love a deal that sends AA packing and we get a pick in the 7-11 range, with the Kings at 8 being a possibility. Even trading him for a low teens pick and grabbing Gary Harris would be nice.

Isaiah Thomas: 20.3PPG, 6.3APG, 45FG%. I agree they have talent that won't gel. I think AA could help them a lot and is an instant upgrade over Terry. Cousins could use a guy like Affalo around. A scenario I'm sure Henny would look into if something is there.

With the Kings putting their No.8 pick on the block I think Affalo to them makes a ton of sense. They want a replacement for Terry, Affalo works IMO.

I could easily see Cavs going Embid. If his back clears out, like everyone is saying, and he's the consensus no1 pick, than why would he fall to us like everyone is assuming? But I guess it's a win win.

I was saying like LaVine and Embid in 2014. Like a poltical campaign. I'm not that behind the curve here. And I agree, now that the emotions have cleared I'm okay with 4 we have no clue who will be there or not (minus Wiggins). So game on.

That's the issue though. A young 7 footer with back injuries is scary. Like potential we look back in 5 years and he's not in the NBA scary. That's drastic but it's a possibility. But no one knows for sure Parker and Wiggins go 1 and 2 or who bucks take at 3. Nothing is in cement at all. Bennett going 1 last year proves how little anyone ever knows. I know I may be in the minority, but I like Randle a lot so I wouldn't be upset with him either and don't think he can be ruled out.

Who is the top 3 talent? Embid? Are you assuming Exum will be there? That's quite an assumption to make. Embid is the most overrated player in this draft and if Parker, Wiggins and Exum are gone, it's a huge loss for us. Not to say we won't get a good player, but it falls off quickly.

For the first time in my life, I agreed with Bill Simmons tonight. Cleveland does not deserve the No.1 pick. They get rewarded for making the worse selection in history last year. So, yes, I hope Cleveland goes bombs it and takes Embid. Or takes Wiggins and he walks as soon as hes a free agent. Essentially, F clevleand. With that being said, It's 100% Exum or bust. If Bucks take Exum, season tickets are for sale. Sec 114 row 10 on the center court line if anyone is interested.

Classic Magic whiff. I guess at the end of the day Magic fans deserve to see Baby fading away from the free throw line and taking anything but good shots all game, and deserve to see Nelson get throttled on defense and being able to dribble the ball at the top of the key for 15 seconds each possession, thus eliminating the possibility of ever seeing a good shot.

I would be very upset if we didn't make a deal to be honest. Just trade baby, is that to much to ask?

Exactly. We do not have an elite anything. Period, point blank. I love how people talk about "fit" and this and that. We are not in a position to be worried at all about fit. Whomever the best player is at our pick, that's who we will take. Dipo, Harrris, Nik are solid pieces but nothing elite. Give me whoever Henny feels is the best POA when we pick, that's the guy I want. Not the guy that "fits" best with our current roster.

I really don't like playing Harris at PF, he's far to restricted going against true PF's like Aldridge, Lee, Davis, Milsap, Bosh, Griffin, Love, Duncan... the list goes on. To me, in a perfect world we obtain a PF (like, oh say Monroe from Detroit) and than have a lineup that looks something like this while drafting Exum with our first pick than Garry Harris with our 2nd: Vuch Monroe Harris G.Harris/Vic Exum 6th man: Vic or Gary Harris I do like Ennis though. Another possibility would be drafting Randle than Ennis: Vuch Randle Harris Dipo Ennis Or maybe draft Exum than Aaron Gordon. Vuch Gordon Harris Dipo Exum Okay, I'm done.

I'm not really worried the draft at all. Were going to get one of: Exum Wiggins Parker Randle Embiid What's not to like?

I have to say, I absolutley love the lineup of: Vic Lamb Harkless Harris Quinn They play some serious defense! They communicate and FLY to the ball. And the second they get it, they shoot up the court. I, and most others on here, have called for more "run and gun", and it looks like JV finally realized it too. Who would have thought 21 year old athletic freaks would be able to run the court well and shut things down defensively? Weeeirrrdd concept.... Quinn has really embraced being the enforcer downlow and has become really fun to watch. Lamb is finally showing signs of life and after watching him tonight he can play good defense too he has nice footwork. Harris and Vic, well we already know about them. Harkless can still be an elite shut down defender as well.

I have no doubt he's a great person with high morals but I personally do not want to wait a year or 2 in order to see him play if that is indeed the case. Again, no one knows for sure but we do know he hasn't come out and said he won't be going on the mission. Too many other good players in this draft to wait 2 years on a guy.

I agree with this. Ideally one would have thought the purpose of this season was to see what we have in guys like Harkless, Harris, Nicholson and Quinn. Yet, even though Harris starts, he's the 4th option behind baby, meer, and AA. And Harkless? I don't think I've ever seen a guy regress as much as he has this season and JV has completely ruined that kids confidence. When he plays he looks confused, lost, and as if he has no clue what his role is when he's out there. Nicholson actually looked improved a bit this year yet he will for whatever reason sit for multiple games at a time. KO will have good games like last night, but it takes multiple injuries for him to see the court. I get frustrated with the fact that JV doesn't get enough out of these guys even when they do play. You don't think a coach like Coach Thibs in Chicago would get 10x more out of our young guys? He would. Our players coast and seem complacent at times and it seems to me more often than not they need a fire lit under their asses but JV isn't that kind of coach. I just can't fathom having our team revolve around 3 players that will not be here 6 months or a year from now, 2 years at most. It seems counter productive to me. I'm probably being to critical of what is a terrible team, but I too would like to see a direction this team is heading in.
